From on-site testing to free quarantine stays: How hotels & resorts are responding to new testing rules TORONTO — It didn’t take long for the travel industry to react – and adapt – to the federal government’s new pre-arrival testing rule. In the days immediately after Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced on Dec. 30 that all passengers entering Canada are now required to present a negative PCR COVID-19 test three days before arrival, the industry saw several destinations come forward with assurances about their testing capabilities. Countries like Cuba and Jamaica announced PCR testing at select resorts in top tourist spots, with the latter even establishing a Special Task Force to oversee testing efforts. Saint Lucia also announced antigen (rapid) testing at select hotels for qualified guests, with in-hotel PCR tests coming soon. A growing number of hotel and resort companies have taken it upon themselves to roll out on-site testing, no doubt spurred by pre-arrival testing rules from both the U.S. and U.K., similar to that introduced by Canada. The way forward for the hotel industry appears to center around on-site testing, but while it’s certainly an added value and convenience for guests, it also adds a potential additional expense and logistical challenge for hotels and resorts. “We know many resort companies are still struggling financially after nine months of COVID-19 and they’re not eager to absorb the extra expenses of free on-site testing,” John Hawks, Executive Director, Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA) tells Travelweek. “Resorts that can’t offer free on-site testing may find themselves at a disadvantage with their competitors.” Of the early adopters of on-site testing, Sandals and The Excellence Collection are among those offering complimentary in-resort PCR tests for guests. Many more like Palace Resorts, Playa Hotels & Resorts, AMResorts and Couples Resorts are offering free antigen testing, primarily targeting American guests who require a viral test to enter the United States (PCR and antigen tests both qualify).

To further accommodate guests, several hotel and resort brands have announced complimentary quarantine stays averaging 14 days for those who test positive in destination, prior to boarding their plane home. DWHSA’s running list of these brands include AIC Hotel Group, AMResorts, Blue Diamond, Hotel Xcaret, Karisma and Palace, while others like Playa and Palladium are offering quarantine stays at discounted rates. On the swift response he’s seen from the travel industry, even with the week’s notice given by the Canadian government of the new testing rule, Hawks says: “It’s great seeing how quickly resort and hotel companies, airlines and tourism offices have jumped into action with free on-site testing and free quarantine stays to reassure advisors and consumers. Of course, we want travel in 2021 and beyond to be as safe as possible, and the more testing that’s done the faster governments can drive down the risks of COVID-19.” Despite the industry’s unwavering ability to adapt, Hawks doesn’t make light of the impact these new testing requirements will have on travel. Prior to the announcements, he says DWHSA members were seeing an increasing demand for destination weddings, honeymoons and all types of romance travel. Now, with the new rules in place,
he anticipates that momentum to slow. “We do expect to see some cancellations and postponements due to these new rules, unfortunately,” he says. “What we’re hearing loud and clear from both Canadian and U.S. DWHSA members is that their clients aren’t so worried about the on-site/off-site test availability as much as the possibility of a positive test result that might leave them stranded for one or two weeks in-country, under quarantines. They’re concerned about a one-week getaway turning into a three-week trip, especially if the test results turn out to be false positives.” Travelweek reached out to hotel and resort companies that are offering either complimentary or discounted PCR testing on site and/or quarantine stays. Here’s what they had to say: THE EXCELLENCE COLLECTION The Excellence Collection was among the first – if not, the first – resort company to offer complimentary COVID-19 testing for guests, both PCR for Canadians and antigen for Americans. Felipe Cortés, Business Development Associate, tells Travelweek: “We believe that the protocols we are putting in place and the offering of complimentary testing on property will help us avoid a negative impact on future bookings.” Guests must make an appointment January 21, 2021 | TRAVELWEEK | 3
TOP NEWS with the resort concierge upon arrival. A third-party laboratory and doctors will then provide and administer the test, which takes place in a specially designated area on site. On weekdays, the test results will be ready by the evening of the same day; on weekends, results will be made available the following Monday. SANDALS AND BEACHES RESORTS Sandals announced earlier this month that it will be offering complimentary in-resort COVID-19 testing at all Sandals resorts. The company later confirmed to Travelweek that all COVID-19 testing, which includes the required PCR tests for Canadians, will be available to guests scheduled to depart from any Sandals or Beaches resort after Jan. 26, 2021. Upon arrival, guests will be assisted in scheduling their test, which will be done at least 72 hours prior to their departure. Test results will be given within 24 hours.
“We are dedicated to providing peace of mind for all our guests as we follow the latest developments in real-time, to safeguard their experience so that they can always travel to our resorts with confidence.” “We are dedicated to providing peace of mind for all our guests as we follow the latest developments in real-time, to safeguard their experience so that they can always travel to our resorts with confidence," says Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman, Sandals Resorts International. AIC HOTEL GROUP Under the AIC Hotel Group, the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, UNICO 20º87º Hotel Riviera Maya and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos will offer the following TRAVELWEEK
to all Canadians checking out between Jan. 26 and Dec. 31, 2021, or until government mandates are lifted: The hotel will absorb a portion of the on-site PCR test cost and offer it for the discounted rate of US$99; complimentary on-site medical assistance insurance, including doctor assistance, medication and hospitalization, for reservations of three or more nights if booked by Feb. 28, 2021. Tests must be taken up to 72 hours prior to scheduled departure. Staff will assist guests with booking their tests after check-in. Local off-site testing options are also available for an additional cost. In the event that a guest tests positive for COVID-19 while at the hotel, the company is offering complimentary quarantine on site for up to 14 nights. These benefits apply to all existing and new reservations of three or more nights if booked by Feb. 28, 2021, for travel between Jan. 26 and Dec. 31, 2021. KARISMA HOTELS & RESORTS Starting Jan. 26, Karisma properties across the Riviera Maya region of Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica will be offering complimentary on-site COVID-19 antigen tests for those travelling to the U.S., and discounted PCR tests on property for those travelling to Canada (rates are still being negotiated and will be updated prior to Jan. 26). If a guest tests positive, Karisma will provide quarantine accommodations free of charge, for a period not to exceed 14 nights, until a doctor certifies clearance for travel with a negative test result. These amenities are available for guests travelling through March 31, 2021. “Though the new CDC requirements posit an additional hurdle for international travellers, we have already seen a positive response to our implementation of on-site testing for guests,” says Marilyn Cairo, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We anticipate that many guests will feel even safer travelling internationally with the comfort of knowing they can be tested at their resort without any hassle prior to departure.”

Royal Caribbean to sell Azamara brand MIAMI — Royal Caribbean Group is selling Azamara in an all-cash transaction valued at US$201million. The cruise giant announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the boutique luxury line to Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm specializing in consumer, retail and distribution investments. Once the transaction closes in Q1 of 2021, Sycamore will acquire the entire Azamara brand, including its three-ship fleet and associated intellectual property. In conjunction with the transaction, Azamara Chief Operating Officer Carol Cabezas has been appointed President of the brand. According to Royal Caribbean Group, the transaction will allow it to focus on expanding its Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea brands. “Our strategy has evolved into placing more of our resources behind three global brands, Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, and working to grow them as we emerge from this unprecedented period,” said Richard D. Fain, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Caribbean Group. “Even so, Azamara remains a strong brand with its own tremendous potential for growth, and Sycamore’s track record demonstrates that they will be good stewards of what the Azamara team has built over the past 13 years.” Added Stefan Kaluzny, Managing Director of Sycamore Partners: “We are pleased that Royal Caribbean Group has entrusted Sycamore to support Azamara in its next phase of growth. We are excited to partner with the Azamara team and build on their many years of success serving the brand’s loyal customers. We believe Azamara will remain a top choice for discerning travellers as the cruising industry recovers over time.”

NACC, Unifor, industry groups call for action in wake of latest airline cuts TORONTO — Industry groups are speaking out in the wake of Air Canada’s capacity and job cuts, just the latest cuts Canada’s airlines have been forced to make as they navigate severely reduced demand and travel restrictions amid the pandemic. On Jan. 13 Air Canada announced it will further reduce its system capacity for the first quarter of 2021 by an additional 25%. Mike McNaney, President and CEO of the National Airlines Council of Canada, says the country is at a very high risk of losing crucial air connectivity, especially to smaller communities. “The announcement by Air Canada of further layoffs, including layoffs at Air Canada Express carriers, and cuts to service follows an announcement by WestJet that it too is reducing service and employment levels, due to the pandemic,” said McNaney. “These announcements capture the stark reality that we are losing connectivity and service to communities across Canada at a rate that threatens to unwind billions of dollars in investment made over the past ten years, investment that has supported hundreds of thousands of jobs, and driven a level of connectivity and service that underpinned economic growth in every region of Canada,” he adds. Tens of thousands of aviation employees have lost their jobs, billions of dollars in aircraft have been parked, and market capacity has been reduced by more than 80% since the pandemic began, he says, as carriers struggle to provide some level of service, while maintaining financial viability. “Canada’s major airlines are still operating without sector-specific aid and are consequently losing market share to foreign competitors who have received strong sectoral support from their governments,” notes McNaney. On Nov. 8 then-Transport Minister Marc Garneau announced a financial package for Canada’s airlines, one that would be contingent on refunds, which for agents could trigger mass commission recalls. Since Nov. 8 there have been no further details about an airlines industry bailout. A new Transport Minister, Omar Al6 | TRAVELWEEK | January 21, 2020
ghabra, was appointed to the post on Jan. 12 and asked for patience as he reads up on the files. Meanwhile Canada’s largest union in the private sector, Unifor, says it believes the recently announced workforce reductions at Air Canada could have been lessened if the federal government had developed a plan to support Canada's aviation industry.
“Canada’s airlines are still operating without sectorspecific aid and are losing market share to foreign competitors who have received support from their governments.” "The announcement leaves airline workers with continued disappointment in the federal government's lack of action to support the industry," said Jerry Dias, Unifor National President. "For months, we have been demanding that the federal government develop a long-lasting plan and provide financial support to save the industry from total collapse.”
Dias notes that Air Canada has announced plans to close its Yellowknife, Kamloops, Gander and Goose Bay regional offices and reduce its first-quarter capacity by 25% resulting in 1,700 job losses. The job cuts will also affect more than 200 workers at its Express carriers. This is in addition to the more than 20,000 layoffs previously announced last May. "It baffles me that our federal government continues to remain silent when in the past week we have seen layoffs at WestJet and now Air Canada. The federal government can no longer operate as business as usual. Support for airline workers needs to be an immediate priority of the incoming Minister of Transport," said Dias. Though the CEWS program provided some job protection measures for Canadian airline workers, the sector has seen unprecedented layoffs and furloughed workers, he adds. On Jan. 13 Unifor, alongside Air Canada Pilots Association, Air Line Pilots Association and Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association, issued a joint statement on the federal government to make a direct and meaningful financial contribution to the already devastated airline industry.

Commissionable COVID testing partnership launch has a well-known name with it by Kathryn Folliott and Cindy Sosroutomo LONDON — As destinations work overtime to ramp up PCR testing facilities, and travellers scramble to confirm in-destination testing sites, a crucial link to help streamline the process is often overlooked: the travel trade. A company called Chronomics is looking to change that, with help from a familiar name and face here in Canada. Tim Morgan, well-known to the industry from his time with TPI, Virtuoso and others, is assisting Chronomics with consultation on its global travel trade strategy. Based in Toronto, Morgan is looking to connect with travel retailers and suppliers who want to help facilitate their clients’ travel to the UK amid the pandemic. Chronomics is introducing commercial partnerships for wholesale and retail partners engaged in the sale of its UK government-authorized COVID-19 PCR tests for travellers arriving in and departing from the UK. Best of all, there are commission opportunities. Morgan tells Travelweek that as far as he can tell, Chronomics is the only company providing a blanket at-source commission to travel advisors for the sale of PCR tests to clients. “Chronomics is not aware of any other testing companies offering commissionable tests to any and all travel agencies and advisors who have clients arriving in/returning from the UK,” says Morgan. Says Morgan: “At present, a Canadian travel advisor would need to inquire with each potential testing partner (currently there are 107 of them in the UK alone) to determine if they’re offering commercial agreements for the travel trade. Chronomics is trying to simplify that by proactively letting the industry know it understands the importance of the travel trade’s work in helping people who must travel, to do so safely. Chronomics is also encouraging other testing partners to create widespread agreements for the travel trade as a critical component of helping traveller safety.” Travel agents, and wholesalers, are a
big part of the company’s strategy. Says Dr. Tom Stubbs, CEO of Chronomics: “In our efforts working with government on opening up travel responsibly, we very quickly realized that the travel trade is an integral part of helping travellers who must travel to do so safely, similarly to the importance of travel insurance in every itinerary.” Stubbs says Chronomics currently processes thousands of PCR tests every day for clients across Europe and is one of the only providers whose product allows self-administered, at-home/ at-hotel, saliva-based testing in the UK government’s official “Test to Release for International Travel’ program.
For example, if the client is staying at a hotel in London, the advisor can pre-order the client 2 kits to have delivered to their hotel. One for them to shorten their quarantine on arrival, and then one for prior to departure so they can get back into Canada. Q. How much does the test cost and what's the commission on the sale? A. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price, i.e. MSRP (also the commissionable amount) is £99 which includes shipping. The published pricing currently is £119 which includes both shipping and VAT. Commission rates are confidential to the agreements but they are double digits.
“If a travel wholesaler or retailer is sending clients to or from the UK and they require testing, we want to be their trusted partner as they spend their valuable time and resources helping their clients travel safely.” Additionally, he says, Chronomics is the only testing provider offering commercial partnerships to the travel trade on a global basis. “If a travel wholesaler or retailer is sending clients to or from the UK and they require testing, we want to be their trusted partner as they spend their valuable time and resources helping their clients travel safely,” says Stubbs. Chronomics is also in discussions with similar COVID testing firms in major markets to assist the travel trade in having a network of trusted partners for their clients. Here’s more information about how the process works: Q. So a travel agent can pre-package and sell a PCR test for their client travelling to the UK, is that correct? A. Canadians can purchase this prior to travel (i.e. their advisor can purchase it on their behalf as part of their itinerary prior to travel). Their test can meet them upon arrival in the UK and they then have the chance to shorten their UK government required quarantine from 10 days to as few as 6 days. On the return, they can take another PCR test in the UK to be able to meet Canadian entry requirements on their return.
Q. Once the client purchases the test from their travel agent, how do they get the test in destination? Does Chronomics mail the test directly to their hotel? If so, when is it delivered (ie. upon check-in?) A. Through the Chronomics partner dashboard, travel advisors purchase the test on behalf of their client (much like they would any other itinerary component with a tour operator, for example) and chooses where they would like the test delivered to. Most choose their accommodation point in the UK. Q. How quickly do clients get their results? A. Test results generally arrive via the Chronomics app on a traveler’s phone between 36 and 48 hours of mailing the completed test kit. Q. Are saliva-based tests considered PCR tests? A. PCR (polymerase chain reaction testing) is a test used to “amplify” small segments of DNA. Saliva-based tests can be used for the purposes of PCR testing. Travel wholesalers and retailers are invited to reach out to partnerships @chronomics.com to learn more. January 21, 2021 | TRAVELWEEK | 7

AIRLINES At IATA’s first COVID-19 briefing this year, Director General Alexandre de Juniac expressed his frustrations with the slow pace of the airline industry’s recovery and called for a more balanced approach based on testing. De Juniac, who will be stepping down from his role as Director General and CEO in March, called for a more balanced public policy approach based on testing as a replacement for quarantines. “Science tells us that travellers will not be a significant factor in community transmission if testing is used effectively,” he said. “But most governments have tunnel-vision on quarantine and are not at all focused on finding ways to safely reopen borders, or alleviate the self-imposed economic and mental health hardships of lockdowns.”

The new protocols went into effect on Jan. 11; all travellers must now arrive with a negative test result no more than 72 hours before arrival. Travellers may be retested upon arrival at which point they must then complete a mandatory 14-day quarantine in a tourism authority/MOHWE-approved hotel at their own cost. Boeing 737 MAX
Transport Minister approves 737 MAX's return OTTAWA — Transport Canada has lifted the existing Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), which prohibits the commercial operation of the Boeing 737 MAX in Canadian airspace, on Jan. 20, 2021. This will allow for the return to service of the aircraft in Canada, says Transport Minister Omar Alghabra. Transport Canada sent out a statement on Jan. 18, noting that it has issued an Airworthiness Directive for the Boeing 737 MAX, which outlines the required modifications to be made to the aircraft prior to a return to service in Canadian airspace. This concludes the department's review of the aircraft. As part of Transport Canada's independent review process, the department's civil aviation certification and flight safety experts were instrumental in guiding the aircraft design changes. The department has gone even farther by introducing unique Canadian measures to further enhance the safety of the aircraft. In addition to all reviews, and to provide additional assurances that all measures are in place, an Interim Order that clearly indicates Transport Canada's expectations and requirements for additional training for crew members was also issued for operators. It is complementary to the design and maintenance requirements of the Airworthiness Directive. Transport Canada has spent 15,000+ review hours on the Boeing 737 MAX, and issued its own unique Airworthiness Directive as opposed to the adop-
tion of the FAA Airworthiness Directive. “Over the last 20 months, Transport Canada's civil aviation safety experts, by their rigour and thoroughness, have ensured the safety concerns the department had identified have been addressed,” said Alghabra. “Canadians and the airline industry can rest assured that Transport Canada has diligently addressed all safety issues prior to permitting this aircraft to return to service in Canadian airspace.” Earlier this month WestJet announced that it intends to phase the aircraft back into passenger service starting Jan. 21.

TDC welcomes new members to Quebec network MONTREAL — Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) closed 2020 on a high note by welcoming eight new affiliated agencies to its Quebec network in December. According to Kimberley Wood, National Director, Franchise and Affiliate Members for TDC, “it’s not just eight new agencies that are joining our network, but solid entrepreneurs with a proven track resort who are ready to actively participate in the revival of the tourism industry.” Wood adds that in the last few months, the TDC Network has taken a proactive approach to developing a strong marketing campaign, with the added value of the travel professional being the central focus. TDC also launched TDC Campus last November, a comprehensive online training program featuring bilingual content including simulations, videos, interactive guides, quizzes and more. “I hope that this travel industry we all love will quickly regain its strength,” says Wood, saluting the “incredible resilience” shown by all members of the TDC network. “In the meantime, we will continue to support our members to the best of our ability.” Five Voyages Paradis agencies in Quebec are joining the network, with owner Malik Hadid saying the decision to join was not a difficult one. “The reflection that was required from all agency owners due to this period of uncertainty made us realize what is really important to us,” says Hadid.

“Being as well equipped as possible to be ready when the relaunch comes was a determining factor in our decision to join TDC. One can only think of the advantageous commissions negotiated by TDC with its preferred partners, but also of the unfailing support that the team has maintained with its agencies in recent months, particularly through a very comprehensive training program and a marketing campaign promoting travel professionals. Anyone with plans to travel this winter, “cancel your trip”, says Trudeau OTTAWA — Asked during his daily briefing on Jan. 19 about stronger measures restricting travel during the pandemic, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the federal government “could impose new restrictions without advance notice at any time”, adding "this is not the time to be travelling abroad”. He told Canadians that if they have plans to travel this winter, “cancel your trip.” “It’s not worth catching COVID-19 and bringing it back to Canada,” he said. “Once again, we’re asking Canadians to not leave the country.” Trudeau said that while the federal government is aware that freedom of movement is protected under Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, “we have the obligation and the right to impose very strict measures” to keep Canadians safe, and said “if need be we will impose further measures.” It was the strongest language yet used by Trudeau to suggest that stronger restrictions could be coming as Canada heads into two more months of winter, at least, typically the time that most Canadians head south to get away from the snow and cold. However, he also noted that Canada’s strong travel restrictions already in place “are not only there to discourage travel, they’re also measures to ensure Canadians will be protected.” “We strongly recommend that no one take non-essential trips,” Trudeau said. “We will make further decisions if necessary.”

KINGSTON, JAMAICA — In light of new testing requirements by both the Canadian and U.S. governments, Jamaica has announced a special task force to ramp up the island’s COVID-19 testing capacity. The news was announced by Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett, who’ll be leading the task force. “This task force will work along with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and tourism stakeholders, both within the public and private sectors, to boost Jamaica’s capacity to facilitate wide-scale COVID-19 testing for visitors to the island,” he said. “We will also undertake extensive consultation with our local and international tourism partners to develop and introduce innovative solutions to effectively address this challenge.” The task force will be comprised of the following members: Clifton Reader, President of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA); Nicola Madden-Greig, First Vice President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) and former President of the JHTA; Ian Dear, Chairman of the Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo); Adam Stewart, Deputy Chairman of the Sandals Group and Chairman of the Tourism Linkages Network Council; John Byles, Executive Director of Chukka Caribbean Adventures and Chairman of the COVID-19 resilient corridor management team; and Delano Seiveright, Senior Advisor and Strategist in the Ministry of Tourism. On the collaborative efforts of the task force, Bartlett said: “This unified approach has proven to be very effective in managing the pandemic to date, and has been crucial to our success in introducing our COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols that have been endorsed by the World Travel and Tourism Council, as well as our COVID-Resilient Corridors. I am therefore confident that working in collaboration with our stakeholders, we will be successful.” The news came just two days after the CDC announced a mandatory negative COVID-19 test for all air passengers entering the United States, effective Jan. 26. Canada made a similar announcement last month, on Dec. 30, giving travellers just a week’s notice to acquire a negative test prior to arriving in Canada.

Skyscanner’s new ‘Unserved Routes’ module aims to help with airline recovery LONDON — Skyscanner is looking to identify untapped demand for new direct flight services, with an eye to a recovery upswing in air travel post-pandemic. Skyscanner launched the exclusive new solution, the ‘Unserved Routes’ module, within its Travel Insight Vision business intelligence tool. The suite of Travel Insight products, which includes Travel Insight Vision, analyzes the behaviour of millions of Skyscanner users to reveal where people are looking to travel in the next 12 months, allowing airlines and other businesses to rapidly respond to market changes, understand emerging trends and optimize or plan new routes. The company notes that the pandemic rendered last year’s data virtually irrelevant. The new tool aims to help airlines and airports leverage forwardlooking search and intent data to predict demand and identify new and more profitable route opportunities. The 'Unserved Routes' module provides a first-of-its-kind data segmentation for the global aviation sector, combining flight schedule data with traveller demand insights, says Skyscanner. And while other data sources typically focus on historic or completed bookings for route planning and yield management, Skyscanner’s solution allows airlines and airports to forecast ahead and understand forward looking

TORONTO — The Dominican Republic’s official tourism website has been updated to reflect the island’s approach to testing following the CDC’s new pre-arrival protocols. The CDC announced last week that effective Jan. 26, all air passengers entering the United States require a pre-arrival negative COVID-19 viral test (a test for current infection) within three days before their flight departs. Similarly, the Canadian government also announced on Dec. 30 that all arriving passengers must present a negative PCR test three days before their arrival, a new requirement that went into effect on Jan. 7. In response, the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism confirmed on godominicanrepublic.com that it is coordinating with the Dominican government and the private sector to develop a comprehensive plan to address these new requirements for travellers. Currently, tourists can make an appointment for a PCR test sample collection through various channels, including at Amadita laboratories and Referencia clinics throughout the country, as well as via self-collection kits and auto and home services. Click here for the full list. If a guest is staying at a hotel outside of Santo Domingo, the Ministry recommends that they schedule their test from the moment they arrive in the country to ensure the availability of specialists and that results are given in a timely manner. Those staying in Santo Domingo can schedule their test the same day or the next day. For home tests to be performed at a hotel, guests must inform the reception stay so they can give access to the lab specialists. A passport is required to take a PCR test. To inquire about specific testing offerings at resorts, the Ministry recommend contacting the resort directly. NCLH is currently working with global government and public health authorities and its Healthy Sail Panel of expert advisors to take all necessary health and safety measures. The Framework applies to cruise ships carrying at least 250 passengers and is meant to provide a pathway for cruise lines to resume safe and responsible sailing.
