Veggie Lanna Story Telling
A-yi-a-yor Curry is a local Lanna food. Nowadays, It is difficult to find in the restaurant because it comes from local home cooking. A-yi-a-yor Curry is Lanna language, means “little by little”. Therefore, A-yi-a-yor curry is cooked with a little by little of various local vegetables (main ingredient). So, a lot of vegetables in this curry has high nutrition and good for health. The main income of Doon moon Community comes from vegetable farming. This community is located near Nan’s River and they have experienced flooding in every year. Fortunately, it still has a “good thing come with bad thing”. Even though they have to get through with the water level rising every year, it brings nutritional sediment to the land, and villagers can also grow vegetables easily without using any chemicals. 21
