BUILDING ELECTRICAL DESIGN
HIGH-VOLTAGE ENGINEERING
Power Distribution Design: This includes designing 0.4 kV (kilovolt) networks, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and main distribution cabinets for efficient power delivery within a building.
Building Integration: This encompasses designing medium-voltage electrical systems within a building, ensuring seamless integration with the overall power infrastructure.
Lightning Protection: This involves designing both external and internal lightning protection systems to safeguard the building from electrical surges.
Environmental Controls: This covers designing antifreeze systems like rain gutter heating, ramp heating, and staircase heating for proper temperature control.
LOW-VOLTAGE ENGINEERING
LOW-VOLTAGE ENGINEERING
Security and Access Systems: This includes designing video surveillance systems, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems to enhance building security.
Communication and Entertainment Systems: This involves designing telephone and structured networks (both passive and active elements), IPTV and CATV networks, as well as background music and emergency sound systems for improved communication and entertainment experiences within the building.
BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (BMS)
This focuses on designing and implementing the BMS, the central nervous system that controls and automates various building functions like lighting, HVAC, and security for optimal efficiency and comfort.
BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM)
The use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is increasingly required for complex investment projects, and its effectiveness is continuously confirmed by the entire construction process, including project management throughout the entire life cycle. The aim is definitely to consider BIM not just as a simple 3D model, but as a complex life cycle model.
In order to ensure that the technical databases and plans created with the models used in the design process are interoperable, it was necessary to establish a set of common rules. The standards MSZ EN ISO 19650-1 and MSZ EN ISO 19650-2 (Information management and digitisation for buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling (BIM) - Information management using building information modelling Part 1 - Concepts and principles and Part 2 - Implementation phase of facilities) set out the basic requirements. The Level of Development (LOD) is defined by an internationally accepted standard BIM documentation.
In addition to the standards, the Client's requirements are also relevant, in particular with regard to the operating conditions.
The application of BIM-based design in Hungary is defined by the Minister of Construction and Transport in Decree 31/2024 (VIII.22) ÉKM No. 31/2024 on the Conditions of Design and Technical Implementation frameworks for Building Information Model (BIM)
Training opportunities are continuously provided for the staff of TSPC Energy Ltd. in order to meet the increasing demands of all the specialised systems of the building electricity engineering field, as well as the network design field. The use of the BIM model is particularly important in cases where the implementation phase is preceded by several provisional phases (traffic constraints, temporary installations, etc.). The comparability of the various provisional phases associated with each construction method and the selection of the most advantageous of these methods according to the parameters defined by the objective function can be widely supported by the use of BIM.
Examples of BIM application at SEMCORP and National Pharmaceutical Manufacture projects.
Electrical Infrastructure Engineering
HIGH-VOLTAGE NETWORK DESIGN
Distribution Substations: This includes designing and planning both standard distribution substations and those specifically catering to industrial customers connected to the high-voltage grid.
High-Voltage Connections: This involves designing the high-voltage connections for renewable energy sources like photovoltaic power plants and energy storage systems.
MEDIUM-VOLTAGE NETWORK DESIGN
Medium-Voltage Infrastructure: This encompasses designing the routes for underground medium-voltage cables, as well as planning medium/low voltage stations, medium voltage transmission lines, and metering stations.
LOW-VOLTAGE NETWORK DESIGN
Low-Voltage Infrastructure: Here, the focus is on designing low-voltage underground cable lines, outdoor distribution cabinets, distribution points, and street and street lighting networks.
SCADA (FET) DESIGN
Protection & Control Systems: This encompasses designing SCADA and Fault Expulsion Time (Overhead Catenary Remote Control System) systems to ensure safe and reliable operation of the electrical network.
Railway Safety Systems: This focuses on designing railway safety systems that integrate with SCADA for enhanced train operation and passenger safety.
RENEWABLE POWER PLANT DESIGN (GREEN ENERGY):
Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant Design: This includes comprehensive planning for PV plants, covering aspects like PV panel allocation, DC (Direct Current) interconnections, low and medium voltage network design, and control engineering to optimize energy generation and flow.
Power Generation Plant Design: This covers the design of renewable power generation plants beyond solar, encompassing various technologies to convert natural resources into electricity.
BATTERY ENERGY
STORAGE SYSTEM
(GREEN ENERGY):
To maintain the stability of the energy supply system there is a need of wide implemantation of different types of energy storage systems, for example BSS (Battery Storage System).
OTHER SERVICES
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
High-Voltage System Simulations: We conduct simulations for high-voltage systems based on user and consumer operating data, adhering to EN standards whenever required by law. These simulations help us optimize system performance and identify potential issues.
Energy Simulations: In addition to high-voltage system simulations, we can also perform comprehensive energy simulations, potentially linked to more complex subsystem-level simulations. These simulations provide valuable insights for improving energy efficiency.
Technical Expertise: Our team offers extensive technical expertise across all our service groups, ensuring we can deliver the best possible solutions for your needs.
Investment and Project Oversight: We can provide technical oversight and management activities for your investments and construction projects, ensuring they meet technical requirements and are completed successfully.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Planning & Development: This includes defining design criteria, preparing contracts, and conducting technical verifications and approvals to ensure a solid foundation for the project.
Financial Management: Our team handles project accounting, asset transfer, financing, and controlling to keep your project on budget and financially sound.
Local Execution: We oversee all aspects of local project management, including work supervision for quality assurance, quantity surveying and verification of certificates, cost and schedule monitoring, acceptance and handover with complete documentation, and coordination with any involved third parties.
Centralized Oversight: A central project management team gathers and analyzes relevant project data, proactively identifies and proposes solutions to potential issues, and provides a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) to keep the Governing Board informed.
