The TSPC CEED specialist team enables creating a built environment that delivers high performance with less technology. In terms of sustainability and environmental conscious climate resiliency the CEED projects’ high-performance buildings perform at an until now unreached level of efficiency in operation energy consumption, carbon footprint, comfort and healthy indoor environment as well as construction investment expenses. The services of the group offer complete building design solutions (in all design stages) supported by complex building climate, comfort, energy and aerodynamic simulations. CEED also provides building physics design support, optimization, plan supervision and consulting for design teams (architecture, services and electrical systems, etc.), green building labeling support (e.g. BREEAM, LEED), building services system optimization and building structures energy and comfort optimization. By designing buildings, city districts, or even entire settlements, we take into consideration new design aspects, such as climate, energy, bionics, aerodynamics, lighting technology, low tech, high tech, building skin technologies, future climate change scenarios.

Toperini Industrial Park is located in the centre of Vác, next to the main road to Gödöllő. The 29-hectare Industrial Park is part greenfield and part brownfield project, located just 2 km south of the historic city centre.

The favourable geographic, transport and economic conditions of the city of Vác and its surroundings have attracted the attention of many investors, resulting in a large number of national and foreign companies, including several world-renowned ones, operating in the area. The aim of the Toperini Industrial Park is to promote the economic development of the region by offering a competitive range of products and services, and to provide favourable conditions for companies wishing to establish or develop in Vác.

BATTERY FACTORY

TSPC Group, as interior general designer, help the work of the South-Korean client SK lnnovation in the second-phase project that covers the construction of a new battery factory on 430.000 m2 in Komárom. ln the Komárom lndustrial Park lithium batteries usable in electric cars will be manufactured. According to previous press reports, the investment is

estimated at 97 billion HUF, which will be supported by the Hungarian state through a non-refundable grant.

The Hungarian TSPC Group will assist the South Korean customer in the construction of the 130.000 m2 factory, including the interior design and fire protection. TSPC’s partner is Hyundai Engineering Corporation.

TSPC was responsible for the BOX and interior design of the Main Workshop (MWS), Main Warehouse (MWH), Hazardous Waste Storage (HWS), and Sprinkler Building (SPR). We prepared architectural, structural, fire protection, building services design, and industrial flooring, and coordinated with other design teams in different disciplines. Additionally, we provided structural design expertise for the Energy (ENR) building and comprehensive fire safety design for the facility. During the design process, all disciplines used Revit 2022 software in a unified manner, ensuring complete and seamless information sharing among them.

The project would be a development concerning 20 percent of the rentable area of the logistical centre in District IX of Budapest. The existing circumstances allow the extension of a hangar and the construction of a new one. The new building will have a reinforced concrete structure, insulated corrugated sheet cover and industrial floor. The offices and the common rooms are located on the second floor within the building. The building serves all logistic functions from warehousing through distribution to the reception of heavy goods vehicles.

05 BIS INDUSTRIAL HALL PAKS

The company responsible for the assembly and operation of the process equipment of Paks Nuclear Power Plant will relocate to Paks Industrial Park from the premises of the nuclear power plant. The project extends beyond the establishment of the premises to designing two manufacturing units, an office block and a warehouse, from the conceptual plan to building permit and implementation plans.

The entrance has been placed at the front of the workshops, offices are on the first floor and the social rooms are located on the ground floor. In identical building masses as the previous ones, the workshops are lined up, all of them opening towards the centre of the plot.

A compact manipulation area of compound traffic has been designed to handle logistic tasks. The longitudinal block of the warehouse is organically linked to this space with the mandatory green area and treeline behind it.

A new operational hall is built in Csorna on behalf of Győr-Sopron-Ebenfurti Vasút Zrt. The ground floor of the building complex houses, among others, a repair shop, a track supervision workshop, a transformer house and a smithery. On the ground floor of the connected building wing social premises - a changing room, a public kitchen, boot washers and showers - have been built, while on the first floor. there will be modern offices and meeting rooms together with the necessary social and storage areas. The warehouse, also suitable for explosion-proof storage, will be operated as a separate block in the area. Both buildings have strip foundations, reinforced concrete floor beams and monolithic reinforced concrete slabs, flat roof structure with straight layers.

The electricity demand of the building will be satisfied by a new 165 kW transformer. The specifications include the lighting, security (alarms, cctv, access control system), fire alarms, lightning protection, construction of a structured network, laying of metal and optical cables, installation of a new fire hydrant, construction of a firewater storage tank, if necessary, construction and authority approval of a new gas mains, connections, construction of a temporary LPG storage facility. The operational building complex will obtain its full functionality when completed by car parks, area lighting and connected to the public road network.

TSPC prepared a study on the use of land for a Premium lndustrial Park, with a presentation of the plots and their specific characteristics. The area is ideal for the installation of industrial facilities. Access by road is currently possible with a vehicle of 11.5 tonnes axle load. As a development site, the utility network can be designed and extended to meet the needs of the investments that will be made here.

The modern parking house was built at one of Győr’s intersections. Its interesting feature is that it also houses the practice hall of the Győr Ballet. The design of the Árpád parking house, dominated by horizontal stripes, conveys an impression of dynamism and its stepped green roof ensures maximum adaptation to the environment, while compensating the often austere and monotonous appearance of buildings serving similar purposes. The parking house has five storeys with 205 spaces, an occupancy indication system and six charging units for electric vehicles.

Budapest’s modern recreational park, Millenáris Széllkapu opened with the largest three-dimensional vertical garden in Central Europe, a cherry tree grove, a forest-field-lake trio, spectacular design solar panels and 330 new trees. Parking cars caused serious problems around the park, cars looking for parking spaces were a familiar sight around Millenáris Park. The 500-space underground garage, with electric car charging stations and a bicycle storage room significantly improved the parking situation.

The vegetation appears here as well: the fair-faced concrete elements around the entrance are covered with a varied green surface.

The parking house designed by our office offers a solution to the parking problems of the city of Győr. The regular, modular appearance of the building is counterbalanced by the pergolas on the roof and the shading structures installed on the façades, allowing the creation of green walls and roof-level arbours.

The reinforced concrete bracing walls are suitable for installing large-sized commercial and urban image advertising surfaces.
