Marmoleum delivers multiple benefits for new CAMHS unit
Four designs and eight colourways from Forbo’s extensive Marmoleum floor collection have created a durable, design-led, resilient surface flooring solution for NHS Tayside’s new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) unit.
Built in Dundee, the new £8 million facility provides round-the-clock care for young people across the north of Scotland coping with mental health conditions.
Director at Dundee-based Gauldie Wright & Partners and project architect for the unit, Peter Kingston, commented: “Designed with the complex needs of the users in mind, now and in the future, the building is bright and welcoming and we wanted flooring that would enhance its design internally. The Marmoleum collection offers a great range of designs with the advantage of a large colour palette, allowing us to create exactly the finish we were looking for.”
The retro-yet-modern linear design of Marmoleum Striato in the warm tone of Compressed Time has added an extra dimension to corridors, whilst the multi-shaded Colour Stream sets the tone perfectly for the Art Resource Room.
In classroom areas, complementary Marmoleum colourways were combined to help to create a positive learning environment. In the bedroom wings, Marmoleum Real, with its classic marble structure, features in three contrasting colours in a floor scheme designed to help patients, visitors and staff with wayfinding.
Peter continued: “Marmoleum is particularly versatile. Apart from achieving an A+ rating in healthcare, as assessed by BREEAM, it is especially good from a durability and cleaning perspective for general circulation areas like receptions and corridors, canteens and waiting areas. It also offers health and hygiene benefits thanks to its inherent anti-bacterial qualities, which for a healthcare environment is obviously essential.”

Profloor Levelling System gives a lift to flats conversion
The A. Proctor Group Ltd has supplied its Profloor Levelling System to contractors Andrew Towns Wadey Builders to help with the conversion of a Grade II listed building in Reigate to residential flats. Developed to allow a level finished floor to be installed on a cambered, stepped, or uneven sub-floor, Profloor Levelling System is typically used on structural concrete floors where the differences in level are too great. The floor is levelled by inserting packers in each levelling base to adjust the level of the timber battens, and create a level finished floor, with no need for wet trades in the process.
Charcon, the commercial hard landscaping division of Aggregate Industries, has been awarded the contract to supply Oriam, the new Sports Performance Centre at HeriotWatt University’s Edinburgh campus. A total of 1,200m2 of Charcon’s Andover Washed block paving in Anthracite Charcoal has been specified for the external hard landscaping, and will be used to create a contemporary backdrop for the scheme.
Offering consistency in colour and texture, Andover Washed allows different patterning effects in adjacent areas to be created. It contains up to 50% recycled materials in the complete mix design for a more sustainable option.

Permeable paving simplifies SuDS
Recent innovations with concrete block permeable paving help meet regulatory requirements for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) while cutting costs and maximising development potential, as summarised in a new guide from Interpave
By its very nature, concrete block permeable paving is uniquely placed to help meet the multifunctional requirements for SuDS on developments. Its capability to attenuate water flow during rainfall for gradual discharge is well known. But it also provides a fresh opportunity to meet the need for water retention on site – a key element of any SuDS scheme – without additional land-take.
This is achieved by designing with distinct storage ‘compartments’ of permeable paving using straightforward orifice flow controls, that are accessible for observation and adjustment if needed, on the outlets. This enables water storage to be deployed around a site, with flow controls demonstrating compliance to local planning authorities as part of the SuDS design approval process.
Additional storage on valuable land, with associated excavation and construction costs, is avoided and SuDS requirements on high-density urban schemes can be met without expensive storage structures. This approach is also useful for controlling flows to maximise permeable paving storage on sloping sites or to increase treatment times, optimising removal of pollutants within the pavement.

Revolutionising tall building rainwater attenuation
Polypipe Terrain has developed new technology, designed to accommodate for the UK’s ever growing urban population.
As experts in providing intelligently engineered solutions for the movement of water around tall buildings, Polypipe Terrain has designed the patented ‘Terrain Flow Control Outlet’ to assist with the growing demand for roof and podium level rainwater attenuation.
STEICO launches total floor initiative
STEICO one of the largest suppliers of engineered I Joists to the UK market and the largest producer in Europe introduces STEICO total floor.
Combining high performance STEICO Joist and LVL with the durable, higher density and stable new durelisdek in one package from a single source gives house builders and developers a simple specification choice and ensures the floor deck performs fully to its designed potential.
The floor unit is a vital part of the new build structure and any on site problems due to excessive deflection, movement or exposure damage can result in expensive remedial work and dissatisfied customers. The risk of squeaky or noisy floors in situ can also be minimised by the assurance of performance the specification of STEICO total floor gives.
All the total floor components including accessories are supplied to the STEICO dealer network, timber frame or off site manufacturer and the complete floor designed, cut and packaged to the builder’s specification.
STEICO offers extensive design support and works with dealers, manufacturers and volume house builders to ensure the products are used in the best way possible, value engineered for efficiency and importantly provide excellence in performance.
The new ‘Terrain Flow Control Outlet’, when used with Polypipe’s Permavoid system, removes the need for large conventional attenuation systems. Normally installed below ground or in underground car parks and basements, the new product intercepts and controls the flow of rainwater at the source. This is particularly useful in urban environments, where space for rainwater storage tanks can be impractical or impossible to install.
The Permavoid system allows rainwater to be stored and attenuated at roof and podium level.
The ‘Terrain Flow Control Outlet’ then allows the rainwater to be released at a controlled rate and conveyed using Terrain PVC or Terrain FUZE HDPE drainage systems. With these systems working together, sellable space can be created making the building more profitable, whilst complying with permissible rainwater run off rates.

Hauraton
Surface water management essential at Sports Complex
The Community Sports Complex in Doncaster has been imaginatively planned and built to the highest architectural standards with the 15,100 capacity Keepmoat Stadium at its heart. The location of the complex meant particular attention was paid to rainwater run-off and pipe depth issues in general. It was decided to use Hauraton injection moulded Recyfix Super drainage channels around the perimeter of the stadium - 640 metres of channel was eventually specified, plus a further 340 metres of pitch-side drainage inside the stadium itself. Made from re-cycled polypropylene, Recyfix Super was chosen for being strong yet light enough to comply with manual lifting regulations. Subsequently, 250 metres of the same channel was also used to drain walkways and around the five-a-side pitches.

Just over 3,000 square metres of these rooflight panels were required to re-glaze the six platforms at the station, supplied in some 1,800 panels delivered to site ready for quick installation. The Multi-Link panel is an innovative roof glazing product that has been well utilised for many years on station canopy roofs, and it has been thoroughly tried and tested in that time. Its fix and link method of installation, is incredibly quick to fit, making it an excellent choice for installation in stations where possession times are an issue.

Ancon Building Products
Ancon further extends its insulated balcony connector portfolio
Ancon has extended its STC steel-to-concrete balcony connector range with two new high performance products and a standard series of connectors manufactured from stainless steel.
Ancon STC connectors anchor an external steel balcony to an internal concrete floor slab while minimising heat loss through thermal bridging at the interface. The two new sizes provide a higher resistance to both moment and shear forces. Typical applications for these high performance products include large cantilever balconies and situations where column layout or rebar congestion limits the number of connectors that can be installed. Comprising a two-part assembly, the STC and SSTC systems allow phased installation. Ancon connectors are proven through thermal modelling to help prevent condensation and mould growth in buildings.

Ubbink
Ubbink offering more to flat roof ventilation
Ubbink Group have manufactured and supplied the UK market with flat roof vents and terminals for over thirty years. The range has grown in previous years with the introduction of terminals which have the ability to duct from 100mm to 180mm. Previously there has been some confusion for specifiers when trying to source the correct flat roof vent or terminal to suit their project. Therefore Ubbink Group have produced a wider range of flanges to help aid specifiers and installers fit ventilation with ease. Keith Plummer, Technical Manager of Ubbink UK for over 20 years commented: “When flat roofs were either three layer felts or asphalt the type of flange material was set in stone. Now with single ply systems becoming more popular, Ubbink needed to be able to offer the specifier and contractor a more compatible solution. Which allows ventilation and termination to be installed more successfully into the wider range of flat roof coverings.”

Wetherby
Wetherby’s EWI system on £8 million project
Kemper System
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
is thrilled with Kemper System solution
Two of the popular rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach have been upgraded to ensure they continue to thrill families of visitors for another generation thanks to Kemper System’s Kemperol V210 liquid waterproofing membrane.
Opened in 2000 at a cost of £15 million, indoor log flume ‘Valhalla’ is one of the 120-year-old Pleasure Beach’s most popular rides, offering visitors a thrilling Viking-themed journey. The external façade features a ‘waterfall’ that dispenses 12,000 gallons of water per minute, splashing the covered waiting area below. It was this area of the ride that was upgraded with an overlay of Kemperol V210, a cold liquid applied waterproofing system that bonds directly to the substrate and forms a reinforced monolithic membrane that cannot delaminate and offers a BBA-accredited service life of 25 years.
Comments Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Construction Manager, Tim Currey: “The volume of water constantly pouring on the queue shelter roof for Valhalla is far in excess of what any roof would normally have to deal with, so it needed a robust waterproofing membrane with no vulnerable seams and no risk of water penetration.” The Kemperol V210 cold liquid resin system was applied by roofing contractor, Castle Roofing, in a single wet-on-wet process, applying resin immediately followed by a flexible reinforcement fleece and then more resin to ensure complete saturation of the fleece before the membrane was allowed to cure.
The same system was used to overlay the roof of the theme park’s Alice in Wonderland family ride, which was originally constructed in the 1950s and was suffering water ingress in some areas. Here, Castle Roofing cut out sections of the existing felt roof where it had split, filling these areas will a repair mortar made of Kemper System’s D Primer and quartz sand, before installing the Kemperol V210 system as an overlay.
Tim adds: “The Kemperol V210 enabled the contractor to work on small sections of roof at a time and manage the programme around the operational demands of the business, while providing a robust, durable and flexible waterproofing solution.”

Marmox
Heraklith roof board respecified for restoration of Richard Rogers House
A detailed refurbishment project to conserve an architecturally significant residential property is making use of a special composite woodwool board from the range supplied by Marmox Limited to ensure not just the integrity of the work, but also the building’s long term performance. Basically the depth of the roof did not provide sufficient space for ventilation and instead Rogers specified the special grade woodwool board to absorb moisture from the air when humidity levels are high. But then when the air is dry, it will release moisture back into the air. This keeps the room humidity constant and comfortable, while also reducing the risk of surface condensation which can lead to mould growth.

Bauder
Flat roof manufacturer Bauder launches Solar PV Design Guide
Solar photovoltaic (PV) is currently the most popular renewable energy in the UK and its deployment is rising rapidly across the globe, particularly because climate change and resource scarcity are on the agenda of every government and major corporation worldwide.
Despite recent UK Government policy changes, the number of large, flat roof installations should still rise as local authorities and businesses look to reduce their carbon footprint and gain energy security for the future.
All too often within the construction industry, photovoltaic specifications focus on energy efficiencies and outputs of the solar panels, omitting to give the same focus to ensuring the rooftop array is installed with methods that have as little impact on the building and its waterproofing as possible and that the array works to its maximum potential for its entire lifespan rather than just becoming a ‘tick box’ exercise to achieve sustainability credits.
To help combat this issue flat roof manufacturer Bauder has launched a new design guide aimed at designers considering the inclusion of a PV array on new build flat roof construction projects, which outlines the key elements to be mindful of to ensure your design is sustainable, protects the building and meets lifespan expectations.

Sioo Wood Protection – a new wood modification for the UK
All too often the appearance of new timber clad buildings is ruined by uneven weathering. It is quite common to see buildings where the shaded areas are still unweathered whereas the exposed areas have already changed to the silvery-grey colour associated with exposed wood.
For this reason, pictures of timber clad buildings are always taken immediately after construction and not after a year or two! Aesthetics is hugely important in the built environment and this patchy weathering puts people off from specifying timber as a cladding material.
A new product in the UK is the Swedish wood surface modification system, Sioo Wood Protection. This product reacts with the wood to produce a pleasing even grey surface within a few months of application. Very importantly, this accelerated weathering takes place through a chemical reaction of the Sioo system with the top few millimetres of the wood surface and so it is a permanent change. Because the greying takes place due to the chemical reaction, a completely even appearance is obtained, since it is not reliant upon exposure to sunlight for the reaction to take place.
The Sioo Wood Protection System uses silicate technology in a two part waterbased system. The first stage of the treatment uses a mineral silica solution that is able to penetrate the surface of the wood very efficiently. After the first treatment stage, a silane-based emulsion is applied, which cures by cross-linking to form a flexible silica network and provides a water-proof barrier preventing leaching of the mineral silicate. Over time, the mineral silicate cures by reacting with atmospheric carbon dioxide to precipitate an insoluble silica network within the wood structure.
The product has been used extensively for cladding and decking protection and has also been used to protect the decks of sailing boats. The Sioo system is used as a surface protection system, which is suitable for Use Classes 1, 2, 3.1 and 3.2 according to EN 335 Part 2 (see table). If additional protection is thought necessary for Use Class 3.2 applications, then the Sioo Wood Protection System can be applied to preservative treated wood and to thermally treated wood. When used in interior applications Sioo Wood has the huge advantage of being VOC-free, since it is water-based and
uses silicate technology. Disposal at end of life is not a problem, since the product is non-toxic.
Use Classes according to EN 335 Part 2.

A Stylish Façade that Performs: Ruukki Forma™
Ruukki Forma™ is the complete façade system. Ruukki’s steel-faced, insulated sandwich panels provide the energyefficient base structure, whilst Ruukki and our partner’s façade cladding products deliver the polished, external finish.
Energy-efficient, air-tight, recyclable, and available in a wide range of shapes, materials and colours, Ruukki Forma™ is ideal for architects and installers alike. It combines function with aesthetics to present a visually-pleasing façade that delivers optimal building performance.
Composition and Components The success of Ruukki Forma™ lies in its unique composition. A special Ruukki panel base provides highly-efficient thermal, fire and sound insulation, in addition to a range of different technical properties – specifically selected to meet customer needs. The external face, composed of elements from Ruukki’s bespoke design palette or our partner’s portfolio, creates a professional finished look in the architect’s choice of shapes, colours and materials.
The Ruukki design palette includes Liberta rainscreen panels, cladding lamellas, and design profiles. A wide range of powder-
coated colours, durable materials and eye-catching profiles give the building both a fully-functional and an aestheticallypleasing exterior.
Environmental and Economic Advantages
Choosing from the range of Ruukki Forma™, weather-resistant steel gives your building façade protection and longevity. With increased life-span, this lowers both refurbishment costs and the environmental impact of additional works. The external façade can also be entirely replaced, with no impact on the building’s day-to-day usage, and the materials are fully recyclable. Furthermore, the energy-efficiency of the panels ensures low-heating costs, therefore representing a long-term cost saving benefit when using Ruukki Forma™.
The external façade is also thoroughly ventilated to ensure only minimal airleakage. In fact, use of Ruukki Forma™’s external building components provides your building with a higher energy-class, and a reduction in heating costs.
Installation Ease and Efficiency
Ruukki Forma™ is designed as a complete façade system, with speed and flexibility of installation in mind. The composition
of the sandwich panel base fitting means that internal work can begin while the exterior facade is being completed The installation benefits extend to an ease of construction. With fewer components required than for a typical build, the margin for error is reduced: the risk of misplaced or damaged parts is lowered, and the labour costs decreased. Furthermore, the Ruukki Forma™ fastening is pre-designed, allowing for smooth and efficient installation: representing a decreased construction time that is both environment and budgetfriendly.
“The Ruukki Forma™ system accelerates delivering a water tight structure; enabling concurrent operations both inside and outside the building, thus vastly reducing the programme and increasing certainty. The Forma™ system also consolidates what would normally be separate components into one with manufactured joints that reduce labour operations on site and ensure air tightness”. Explains Gareth Ellison, Sales Director, UK.
UK Projects
To date, Ruukki Forma™ has been used in a number of significant builds here in the UK. These include the Porsche Centre at Silverstone, and Jaguar Landrover’s site at Gaydon and Daresbury Science and Technology Park. Ruukki was able to partner with Ash & Lacy with a joint supply of materials on these projects. Ruukki supplied the sandwich panels and Ash & Lacy provided the rainscreen façade. These buildings needed to be high-performance and fully sheltered against the elements to protect their valuable contents; however, they also needed a premium-finish to look professional and attractive to the customer. Ruukki Forma™, therefore, was the natural choice for durable panels with a hardwearing, visually-pleasing, exterior.

Trespa
Sterte Court Stands Out, Thanks To Trespa
The twin high-rise housing blocks of Sterte Court occupy a commanding location overlooking part of Poole Harbour in Dorset. But, if the view from within the ten-storey flats was impressive, the external appearance of the 1960’s rendered concrete structure was far less so, and its exposed setting near the coast also created corrosion issues.
A two-year, £7.5million refurbishment completed in summer 2015 has given the towers, together with two adjacent fourstorey blocks, a new lease of life with better insulation, enclosed balconies, modern heating systems and a jaunty external colour scheme thanks to the use of Trespa® cladding to form a robust rainscreen.
“We were confident the tough, durable material would meet the requirements for the building,” says David Hood, Project Manager at Poole Housing Partnership, which manages the estate on behalf of Poole Borough Council. “The panels have good resistance to dirt, so a clean appearance has been maintained.”

The colour scheme, a maritime mix of white, grey and light blue, was chosen by the people living in the 134 one and two-bedroom apartments. “Residents had the opportunity to select the colours for the blocks by casting votes during coffee mornings and neighbourhood get-togethers,” explains Mr Hood. “The blue/ aqua colours reflect Sterte’s waterside location and have since been replicated on the garden sheds, or ‘beach huts’, installed by PHP for residents to use following the project’s completion.”
Residents have declared themselves extremely satisfied with the results of the refurbishment. Says Mr Hood: “They have a new-found pride in their homes and many local people have been so impressed with the look of the blocks, they think it’s a new-build.”
More than 5000m2 of the Trespa® Meteon® 8mm thick product in a mix of Cobalt Blue, Royal Blue, Verdigris, White and Ocean Grey were used in the Poole project.

Graf UK
Mid-century terrace gets modern drainage
makeover
A row of four terraced 1940s cottages in Kent has swapped its outdated, inefficient septic tank with a brand new Klaro E Professional wastewater system from Graf UK – providing residents with a cost-effective, clean and low-maintenance drainage solution fit for the future. Graf UK specified and designed a bespoke retrofit solution made up of two 4,800L Klaro E Professional tanks – enough to service up to 22 residents – and a soakaway comprising nine underground infiltration tunnels. Once treated, the clean water from the Klaro E tanks flows directly into the tunnels and out through their perforated walls and then into the surrounding gravel bed – allowing it to be gradually released back into the ground. As well as eliminating any flood risk and minimising unpleasant odours, this setup means the Klaro E tanks only need to be emptied of residual sludge every 12-18 months – significantly reducing maintenance requirements and costs.

Sudstech
Sudstech specified to re-open Magic Roundabout Subway
Langford Direct Ltd has recently worked with Hertfordshire County Council to re-open the subway of the well-known “Magic Roundabout” in Hemel Hempstead. Langford Direct’s Sudstech highly porous paving system has now been applied as a cost effective solution to drain any excess water from the footpath, whilst also creating an attractive and durable new surface. Also known as the Plough Roundabout, the roundabout has gathered a reputation due to its size and complexity as it consists of six mini-roundabouts covering a large area of the highway. This underpass has now recently been re-opened following resurfacing works to the using the Sudstech porous paving solution. The works comprised the application of the porous material to replace the existing deteriorated resin-bound gravel surfacing covering the entire subway and surrounding areas, which will prevent water build up and reduce the risk of a slippery or icy surface as a result of surface water. Hertfordshire County Council specified Sudstech to support the pump by draining all excess water through the landscaping material itself In having the porous material, all landscape maintenance costs are significantly reduced as the surface does not deteriorate from the effects of water or harsh weather conditions.

Rinnai
Rinnai goes solo for continuous flow with a store Rinnai’s latest innovation in the energy efficient fast delivery of instantly useable hot water is the Infinity Solo Re-Circulator water heater. The Rinnai Infinity Solo condensing and low NOX water heater is the first of its kind for the UK to combine the advanced technology of wall mounted continuous flow water heaters with a stainless steel storage cylinder, all in one compact footprint.
The design parameters of this product empowers specifiers, designers, installers and engineers to benefit from unique Rinnai technology in applications it was once not previously possible. For instance, the Infinity Solo will have both 35kW and 54kW sized appliances, ensuring sites with a smaller gas meter can readily use this technology. The larger Infinity Solo model will also act as a high-efficiency alternative to gas fired storage appliances that exist in today’s market.
The cylinder is stainless steel and this reduces the weight compared to glass lined models, and it makes transportation and installation a lot easier. As well as the difference in weight, the cylinders also have extremely low heat loss figures (as low as 1.41kW/h day), so the user pays less to maintain the heat within the tank. One other benefit of the Infinity Solo using a stainless steel cylinder is that the life expectancy of the material is far greater than that of a glass-lined equivalent as glass suffers from thermal shock causing it to crack after a period of time.
Mendip Stoves
Mendip’s new Woodland stove wins ‘Best Stove Under 5kW’ at Harrogate’s Hearth & Home
Show
The new Woodland stove from Mendip Stoves is an awardwinning design, earning praise for the high quality of its design, in particular the large viewing window, which, for a stove with a low output of 4.5kW is unusual, and for having 100mm to combustibles on both sides and rear of the stove.
A multi-fuel stove with sturdy cast iron door, the new Woodland design has a low 4.5kW output, which makes it perfect for any room and as it’s a closed combustion stove, it can be installed into small or larger spaces such as kitchens and open-plan kitchen-diners without a problem. A log-store version is also available. The Woodland is part of the Woodland Trust offer from Mendip Stoves.

The Infinity Solo range is also renewables compatible and supplied pre-fitted with a coil, meaning that the primary energy source will always be from renewable gains and the complementary Rinnai water heater will only apply the precise amount of gas to boost the difference in temperature. Rinnai manufactures the energy efficient Infinity range of gas fired continuous flow water heaters and space heaters.

The project would also see 12,500m2 of Gerflors’ Taralay Premium flooring specified for their corridors. The VIP rooms of this facility would also need flooring that could provide good levels of sound insulation and comfort underfoot. The choice for this 8,500m2 area would be Gerflor’s Taralay Impression Comfort Wood.

Gilgen Door Systems
New energy-efficient automatic door delivers the looks and performance
Gilgen Door Systems has launched a new energy-efficient automatic door which overcomes the limitations often associated with thermally insulated products, delivering a solution which is both elegant in appearance and efficient in operation. The Gilgen PST <green wings> sliding door comes with low-profile slimline looks and offers outstanding energy performance, expressed as ‘U’ values, enabling entrances to be built sustainably without compromising design. With system ‘U’ values of 1.1 to 1.8, depending on the configuration, Gilgen’s SLX-M drive and PST door profiles combine to form a single energy efficient unit. This combination provides a robust thermal barrier with a low visible profile similar to a standard automatic door. The design of these doors, with thermally separated profiles combined with double or triple glazing goes far beyond that of conventional sliding doors fulfilling the exacting demands of architects, specifiers and building owners.

Pendock
Pendock provides column casings for Castle School canteen refurbishment
Few indoor spaces present a more challenging environment than a school canteen, which was one of the reasons the design team responsible for a far-reaching refurbishment programme, recently completed within ageing premises close to Scotland’s second city, elected to install six bespoke column casings produced by encasement specialist, Pendock Limited. East Renfrewshire Council, the architectural consultancy leading the refit programme, was keen that the existing load-carrying columns should be unified by the completed works. Thus the various different sizes and finishes of reinforced concrete stanchion have all now been covered by the 590mm wide x 450 mm deep column casings; each one approximately 2600 mm tall.

Crown Trade
Colour shines through in new Crown Trade guide
Crown Trade has gone back to the drawing board to refresh its inspirational colour card.
It has poured all its expertise into ‘Colour Schemes and Inspiration’ a new guide packed with ideas, insight and inspiration to help specifiers select the perfect shade.
Taking centre stage in the booklet are 150 of the most popular colours in the Crown range. These are all placed into colour families – namely whites, creams, neutrals, yellows, greens, blues, reds and greys – for ease of reference. There’s then a description of the unique characteristics of each colour family and colour schemed roomsets illustrating each group in inspirational environments.
Information on factors including light, space and colour psychology are also featured, along with guidance on Crown Trade’s colour mixing system and MyRoomPainter App.
Available for free download from the App Store or Google Play, this app enables specifiers to take pictures of an area to see exactly how a finished project will look in whatever shade is chosen.
Debbie Orr, Crown Paints Marketing Manager for Trade brands, said: “Colour Schemes and Inspiration’ pulls together a widerange of guidance to help make the selection of shades easy and effective.”
All the shades featured in the guide are available in Crown Trade’s high quality, professional finishes. These include Crown Trade Clean Extreme, which is recognised throughout the industry for delivering a long-lasting finish that will stand the test of time and keep a fresh-looking appearance. Its high technology formulation provides a surface that is not only wipeable, but has the real bonus of offering a truly scrubbable finish.
Marks and stains can be easily removed to ensure an attractive look is in place for the long term. This ensures a ‘just painted’ appearance is maintained, and surfaces are returned to their pristine condition time and time again.
