Streamlight introduced the PROTAC-2 at Shot Show 2023, in Las Vegas. Their new offering is a high-performance illumination tool, with some very nice features. I’ll start with what I consider to be the most important, comfort.
A headlamp needs to be comfortable to wear and Streamlight has done an excellent job. The PROTAC-2 sits on your head comfortably and is very stable also. The PROTAC 2.0 is rechargeable. The light is powered by a single SL-B50 lithium battery that delivers a runtime of 25 hours on its low setting.
The battery can be charged outside the headlamp or installed.
