Play With Me Parent/Child Workshop 12-40 Months 5 Week Program Offered Wednesdays & Saturdays PLUC - Program Dates: Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 • 10:00 am - 11:00 am A Parent/Child program for children ages 12 to 40 months and their parents/caregivers. In addition to an uninterrupted hour of play, a resource professional from the community is present to talk with parents/caregivers about specific topics, which include literacy, nutrition, speech and language, music and movement, and child development. National Fire Prevention Week WEL - Tuesday, October 9 • 10:30 am – 11:30 am Firemen from the West End Fire Company are presenting a program about fire safety in celebration of National Fire Prevention Week. Held in the Hartley Township Recreation Center next door to the library, this program takes the place of our regular pre-school Discover program. Lego Night All Ages PLUC - Thursday, October 11 • 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Meets the 2nd Thursday of each month Get creative and build anything you want with LOTS of Legos. Beginning ASL Ages 5-12 Years Old PLUC - Thursday, October 18 • 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Meets every 3rd Thursday through December Come learn and practice basic beginner ASL (American Sign Language). This class builds on the previous week’s instruction, so regular attendance is encouraged.
