IMAGINE FRESH PURPOSE
Imagine a fresh purpose for our library.
Every day, our library is inspiring curiosity, imagination, knowledge and growth. Even as the effects of COVID-19 continue to influence the way we all live, socialize, work, and play, the Public Library for Union County is reimagining our services and our spaces. We want to be both responsive and inventive in the way we meet the changing needs of our community. Our ReImagine, ReFresh, RePurpose Campaign will make physical changes to our building that: • relocate and expand our children’s library to provide essential programs and materials for early learning, children’s STEAM education and family support • offer quiet, convenient and comfortable spaces for adult library users to read, connect, work, and relax The benefits of this renovation and expansion have been further magnified by our recent need for social distancing. Safe, flexible and separate areas are critical to providing all ages space to learn, connect and build relationships essential to lifelong learning and community vitality.

SHARED BY A NEW COMMUNITY RESIDENT
“...a solid investment.” DAVE HILLIARD, THE DAILY ITEM
We need your support... Nearly half of our project cost can be covered through the combination of a Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund Grant of $750,000 and a grant of $100,000 from the Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation. Both grants require a dollar for dollar match. Our goal is to raise $900,000 from our community to secure the match and the additional funding needed to complete the $1.75 million project.
With your contribution, the Public Library for Union County can make these changes that position us to play an important role in education and access for people of every age and background in our community.
