Wisdom

Reflection on My First Year It has been a year of change and learning. It’s hard to believe that I have been the library director for one year. This year has been filled with obstacles, changes and growth. Our programs have been well attended and circulation has increased. We see familiar faces and new faces. It is such a pleasure to be a part of this growing community. Our young patrons are learning about the amazing stories that are enclosed in all the books. They can find stories about their favorite places, people and activities. There are many fun creatures at the library who listen to their thoughts and ideas. If you haven’t stopped into the library, what are you waiting for? There will be an Open House on Monday, October 12. You will have a chance to meet the staff, board members and other patrons from the community. Please come and enjoy a great asset in your town - the library! Wendy Rote, Library Director

Save the Date! Library Open House Monday, October 12 4 pm - 7 pm Staff, Board members and others will be available for questions and tours. Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there.

What’s New? Game & Puzzle Section There is now a section in the Library with games and puzzles that can be checked out by patrons for up to two weeks. DVD Section The DVD’s now have their own section and vistors can easily explore the large selection.

Thursday, October 29 6:30 pm Join Tupperware representative, Kim King for a fun evening including Tingo, a Tupperware version of bingo, door prizes and refreshments. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for new materials and programing.

Puzzle Table Do you enjoy puzzles but do not have enough time to complete one? Stop by the library and put some of the puzzle together at the Puzzle table. Juvenile Nonfiction Section Our juvenile nonfiction collection is now located near the children’s section of the library.

Our New Shed is Here! The library has purchased a storage shed that will be used for book sale and program materials.
