SPORT CLUBS
Visit recreation.ucr.edu/competitive-sports/dosports-easy for more information on specific sport clubs.
A sport club is a group of students who meet regularly to pursue an interest in a competitive collegiate activity at the state, regional, and national level. UCR sport clubs are an exciting alternative to intramural sports and offers a way of getting involved in a fun and competitive environment. Rugby, soccer, volleyball, kendo, and ballroom dancing clubs compete against other college teams. We have various highly competitive sports and rec club teams. Each club team is developed, organized, and managed by students with guidance from the competitive sports assistant director. Sport clubs enable students to enhance their collegiate experience and serve as an excellent setting for the development of athletic skills, student leadership and social outlets. All participants are welcome and membership fees are required for uniforms, association fees and other equipment. There are try-outs as it relates to becoming a member of the team. Interested in joining or starting your own club? Contact matthew.dunigan@ucr.edu, (951) 827-4468 for more information.

SRC Youth Programs offers a wide variety of camps and programs for kids and teens. Our programs are created with the development of youth essential skills central to everything we do. Whether it’s skills like teamwork, leadership, focus, creativity, socializing or adaptability to name a few, our trained Youth Leaders, Instructors and Counselors work tirelessly to ensure youth are engaged, develop skills and have fun. This quarter, enroll youth in our continuing Art Enrichment Program and enter a world of creativity, expression and imagination, Spring into Art. UCR Youth Art Instructors will immerse youth in art history and explore diversity and inclusion through art whilst shaping critical thinking skills and supporting the development of creative skills. Also this quarter, enroll your baby, infant, toddler or child in our SRC Child Care Facility and let us do the work as you take part in healthy stress reducing activities, classes and sports. Our UCR Child Care Professionals will ensure your child is engaged and nurtured in a fun and active environment. This Spring Camp Highlander is back! Our traditional summer camp all year round is an engaging bubble of magic, adventure and fun. Finally, enroll your kids and teens in Youth Archery held at Archery Range at Glen Mor.
