The Student Recreation Center (SRC) is currently closed do to state and university restrictions caused COVID-19. The SRC will reopen once allowed by the University of California, Riverside. Aquatics
AQUATICS The SRC has a 237,000 gallon pool and a 20-person spa available for your aquatic adventures. The pool contains a lap swim area, recreational swim area, a vortex/current channel, and a large deck with lounge furniture. It is available for lap swimming, recreational swimming, programming and rentals. Aquatics provides an opportunity for the UCR community to bridge academic learning with recreational health and wellness, leading to a higher quality of life. Competitive Sports Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a newcomer to competitive sports, there is a spot for you! We offer traditional team sports such as soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball and softball; but also events such as tennis, badminton and sand volleyball. Events range from multiweek league sports to single-day tournaments. Come and play with friends, or make new ones that could last a lifetime. Cooking Well Cook, eat, and be healthy! Participants of all skill levels are welcome to the SRC cooking classes, located in the SRC south classroom kitchen. Our kitchen is fully equipped with the tools necessary for our chef to improve your personal wellness through our healthy cooking classes. With the help of Chef Val, you pick up valuable cooking techniques and recipes for life. Classes are hands-on unless otherwise specified. Space is limited, so you must register at the SRC front counter.

ROPES The Ropes Program’s goal is to provide and promote adventure based, purposeful risk taking and cooperative team building opportunities for UCR and the UCR community. The Rock provides climbing, clinics and competitions on our 32 foot-tall wall and 12 ½ foot-tall bouldering area while the Challenge Course provides a safe place for your team to grow together by introducing activities that enhance your perspective on life.
