1. Turn the sleeve through to the wrong side. 2. Stitch the vent edges together. Turn back though.
5. From the inside of the jacket, pull the sleeve through to the wrong side.
3. Put the lining sleeve into the jacket sleeve. Match up the forearm seams on both lining and garment. Check that the lining is not twisted.
6. Starting at the forearm seam, sew with a 1 cm seam around the sleeve hem. Sew carefully past the vent keeping the vent clear of the stitching line.
4. At the forearm seam, turn back the seam allowance and pin the lining into position.
7. Finish and back tack when you reach the forearm seam again.

8. Secure the hem into position by clipping into the seam allowance of the forearm hem seam.
11. Check hem is secured.
9. Fold the hem back on itself.
12. Lightly press the sleeve lining on the wrong side of the garment.
10. Stitch the edges of the hem seam allowance together.
13. Lightly press the sleeve on the right side of the garment. 14 Check the finished hem and sleeve vent for a smooth and crisp finish.
