PROCESS FUSING YOUR TAILORED JACKET

1. Sample different types of fusible interfacing before making your final choice. Fusing should complement the fabric instead of changing the character of it. Cut out the fusible pattern pieces in the chosen fusible. 2. Lay paper on the heat press to prevent any glue sticking to the heat press. 3. Position the fusing accurately on the fabric pieces.

4. Sandwich your fabric and fusible between two layers of paper to prevent any glue sticking to the heat press. 5. Clamp the heat press down and wait for the buzzer to sound. Release the clap and remove the fabric pieces. 6. Place pattern pieces on a flat surface to cool. This is an example of a back piece. 7. Your jacket is now fused and ready to construct.
