If you grew up in the early 2000s you’ve most likely heard of Panic At The Disco. Even thirteen years after the release of there first album panic still around ans booming with the realse od there 5th album Death Of a bachelor in 2016 and the Death of a Bachelor tour following in 2017. The bands fame Started back in 2005 with the release of there first studio album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out on September 27. The original band consisted of Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith , Brent Wilson, after a few weeks the band had Brendon Urie play guitar, but later the band voted him lead vocalist after hearing him sing back up. Urie at the time worked at a smoothie shop and sung for tips to pay for a rehersal space instead of smiths grandmas living room. They were basically a blink-182 cover band.
They soon started to devlop original songs. They sent in three demo songs(“Time to Dance,” “Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks” and “Camisado”) to bassist of Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz. He instantly wanted to sign the band who hadn’t even played a live show yet. They then signed to Fueled By Ramen in decemeber of 2004 and began to work on the album A fever you cant sweat out that would release later that year in september. They realesed there second album Pretty Odd in 2008.Over the years the band has lost and gained members the first to go being Ryan Ross. The band explained It was due to creative difernces. Wich did show with the sharp change of style from the electro up beat A fever, to the acustic folky Pretty Odd album. In early 2010 the band add Drummer Dallon Weekes to the group. They began work on there third studio album Vices and Virtues. The album realesed March 22, 2011 the band beagn touring in early febuary, the album featured the song The Ballad Of The Mona Lisa, and the song New Perspective that featured on the soundtrack of the movie Jeniffers Body. This album foucusing on the departure of past member and a “coming new” era. In 2012 the band began plotting there forth studio album To Weird To Live To Rare To Die. They had recruted Ian Crawford to play guitar to the absence of Ross, but left before they started recording To Weird for reasons he said “to make “real, genuine” music’’. The album released October 8, 2013. Soon the band began touring smith tweeted about his battle with alcohal abuse and drug addiction. He soon left a few shows in with Dan Pawlovich to replace him. The band now nearly disbanded , Urie got married on April 27, 2013. The band was now just urie and past member helping with live shows. On April 20, 2015 panic released single Halleluagh and later that month released Victourious. Later that year in october they anounsed the release of Death Of A Bachlolar album. On January 15, 2016 the Death Of A Bacholar album released. The bacholar album fully recorded by Urie.That summer the band toured with Weezer and the following year began the Death Of A Bachloar Tour. Since the To Weird album ex members have confirmed there withdraw from there group. Since the release of death of a bacholar, the one man band I 2017 has released a live album of songs recorded on tour “all my friends were glourious’’ and a christmas song Feels Like Christmas. Brendon has had his big break on broad way this past summer on the broadway show Kinky Boots. Even though the bands disbandeed he uses the name Panic At the Disco still. Urie claims ‘’Music is my religion’’ and from resent interivews is working on new music. Its been over decade since the band has been around but even then they still warm our hearts reminding us to close the door.
