Be it Elon Musk's Twitter takeover or actor Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock on the Oscars stage, Or even Bianca Ojukwu slapping Mrs. Obiano, wife of former Governor of Anambra State, Nigeria, 2022 will be remembered as an eventful one. People are beginning to go beyond connecting, to sharing content whether negative or positive, and even calling out people for one reason or the other. While some of these are not bad, I believe there should be a balance to everything Now more than ever, random strangers especially the likes of Daniel Regha known for calling out Nigerian celebrities, Oriretan Honour who just started following his steps, and the new podcast by media personality Nedu #TheHonestBunchpodcast who suddenly feels they know everything happening in everyone’s life simply because of the narrative they have off social media. It can be overwhelming sometimes!

The blue street is not FRIENDLY, it DOESN’T CARE HOW YOU FEEL! In Nigerian pidgin parlance, ‘most of them just open their mouth waa’ We have a lot of keyboard warriors who do not really care how their actions and inactions make you feel. Somehow, we have normalized ‘bullying’, in today’s term ‘dragging’ LMAO. The weird part is how some of them actually are awarded as ‘Influencers” Well, it is the blue street after all….
