The Global Professional Award
The Global Professional Award also gives you the chance to get involved in projects and activities organised by external organisations, departments at the University and the Students’ Union. This is a fantastic way to meet new people and try new things. Completing the Award will support you to transform into a highly employable graduate who is: Self-motivated Enterprising Resilient Able to collaborate with others A confident leader Globally and socially aware. We make it as simple as possible to complete the Award through online sessions and activities, and you’ll be supported all the way through by staff who are specialists in Enterprise, Employability, Wellbeing and Citizenship.

The Award is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (Level 5), meaning you’ll graduate with an additional internationally recognised qualification which will help to set you apart from other graduates, and develop valuable qualities that we know employers are looking for. The Award focuses on:
Careers and Employability Helping you to understand what employers want in graduates and leaders, and giving you the opportunity to develop these skills and capabilities.
Wellbeing Providing you with the opportunity to develop tools that will contribute to your physical and mental health at university and as a graduate.
Enterprise Nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and developing the skills necessary to forge your own career paths. *Available alongside all full-time, undergraduate first degrees with a minimum duration of three years. This does not include postgraduate, foundation, top-up, accelerated or apprenticeship degrees.
