september projects WATERMELON MOUNTAIN RANCH Watermelon Mountain Ranch is a popular destination for volunteering when it comes to UNM CKI! Every time the club goes out to volunteer someone will almost always find a four legged friend!

VETERAN'S MEMORIAL

The NM Veteran's Memorial is over 25 acres. Here we honor all the veterans of New Mexico and the service that they have given to our country. Bernie was also able to talk with us about all the NM veterans that have received the Medal of Honor. Only two are alive.

september projects Hopeworks, was originally known as St. Martin's Hospitality Center. Here, 3 of our members helped serve the homeless of the Albuquerque and then cleaned the kitchen. Shoutout overall to Lemont James for making the evening fun for UNM CKI!

We spent the day bagging frozen biscuits and packaging them up in boxes. We ended our service project bagging and boxing over 4025 lbs of biscuits and feeding over 4025 people.

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA | NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY

Saturday, September 8, 2018, 7 members made the 4-hour journey to Flagstaff for a day of training. It was a time we on the club board were able to learn more about our position and meet the other board members from the district. We finished the day with a district board meeting and a service project to relieve some of our stress.

september socialice skating

Old and new members came to socialize with one another. We skated for 2 hours and came out with only a few bruises. For the ones who "misbehaved," we sent them to the penalty box and they sat there, just to have their photo taken. Don't worry Lobos, if you missed this social, there will be more to come!
