MEET YOUR NEW BULLETIN EDITOR! HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Gurleen Kaur and I am so excited to be your bulletin editor!
GET TO KNOW ME: I will be a freshman in the fall and I plan on majoring in Population Health and Chemistry. I am from Alamosa, Colorado. I absolutely love meeting new people and volunteering in my free time! I am a vegetarian (...and have been for my entire life)! I can fluently speak three languages.

Favorite memory: My friends and I decided to go to Frontier at like midnight but we decided to ride our bikes and scooters. Then when we were near Mesa Vista Hall, my friend Krystal biffed it on a crack in the sidewalk. Thankfully she wasn't hurt but we couldn't stop laughing the rest of the way to Frontier where we got sweet rolls and hot chocolate. Future plan: The next thing I plan on doing is trying to find a job, kind of hard with COVID-19, but I'm making it work. Then hopefully after a year or two go back and try to get my CPA license or a master's in accounting. CKI: One thing I will miss about CKI is the people. Being a part of this organization really gave me a second family and I would have never met so many amazing people who I am sure I am gonna be friends with forever. Advice: My advice is to not be afraid to put yourself out there. Even though you'll make mistakes and there will be some failures, do it anyway because those opportunities that scare you the most are the ones that will really help define who you are.

Favorite memory: My favorite memories of my undergraduate years are all the road trips that I was able to take with my friends from CKI. Future plan: I am currently working as a Paramedic at Albequerque ambulance Services and I will be attending NYU in the fall to get a master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs. CKI: One thing I will miss about CKI is all of my close friends who I see regularly and the opportunity to volunteer often. Advice: It is important to keep on top of your academics but make sure you enjoy your college years doing things other than just studying.

Favorite memory: Attending CKIx last summer. Future plan: I am enrolled in graduate school at UNM for a Masters in Computer Science. CKI: One thing I will miss about CKI is hanging out with friends at Kamp Kiwanis. Advice: Find things to focus on that aren't school related.
