Like our fingerprints, each one of us is unique. We have our individual stories to tell and the desire to make a creative mark. Through journaling, photography and writing, we document our daily lives on paper and online. However, by the act of recording our lives, we are in fact altering reality. Self-censorship and selective editing elevates the everyday. Private journals become public blogs and personal stories become published books. This issue explores the often subtle line between fact and fiction, real and imagined, truth and embellishment.
On the journey with us are our faithful furry (and feathered) companions—we celebrate the pet as creative muse.
