“Our story began seven years ago when Garrett and I met in college at the University of Montana in Missoula. Garrett had already been attending the university for a year (originally from Kennewick, Washington), and I had transferred from a college back home in Las Vegas, Nevada. We crossed paths while working in Resident Life together. From there, we fell in love. Garrett proposed in May of 2019 at my favorite place in the whole world - Zion National Park. It was a complete surprise. While I had gone camping with my family, Garrett was supposedly “working”, but he drove over and popped the question at the end of one of our hikes. Most of our family and friends had never been to Montana before, so getting married over a holiday weekend gave us a

chance to spend more time together. We wanted everyone to be able to explore Glacier National Park, the mountains, and everything Montana has to offer. We wanted our guests to see why we fell in love with Montana. Our wedding had all of Montana’s favorites, such as huckleberry flavors, Montana brews, and the great outdoors at our venue, Mountainside Weddings! Even though we don’t live there anymore, our hearts will always be in Montana. When choosing your vendors, ask for suggestions!
