TESTIMONIALS
JAMES LOUGH BACHELOR OF BUSINESS Throughout my time at UTS, the Elite Athlete Program has supported my endeavours both on the sporting field and in the classroom. I have been fortunate enough to have be on this program for all three of my years as a UTS student. I found out about the program through fellow teammates at Gordon Rugby Club, and can attest to the helpfulness of this program and the UTS EAP staff members that facilitate it. With a demanding training schedule, the use of timetabling assistance ensures I can be present both at training and in class. My successful sport & study balance is largely due to the on-campus gym facilities which outweigh those of rivalling universities, I strongly recommend this program to any Gordon representative aspiring to achieve academic success.
JOSH MITCHELL BACHELOR OF SPORT AND EXERCISE MANAGEMENT I first heard about the UTS Elite Athlete Program through a student in the year above me that mentioned how helpful the program was his in first year at UTS. I applied for the program to reap the benefits of the academic and financial assistance, allowing me to keep focussed on training whilst not compromising my education. Without my scholarship benefits such as gym access, timetabling assistance and financial aid, my concurrent academic and athletic success would not have been possible. By maintaining attendance on and off the field, I was able to complete my first degree whilst representing UTS at the Australian University Games without compromise. (PHOTO BY ANDREW QUINN)
