Style Guide Purpose It’s all about consistency when presenting a memorable brand. The best brands stick in our brains because their presence is defined by the repetition of the same logo, fonts, colors, image style and. . . format. Once we see them enough, they become instantly recognizable, bringing us a clear sense of reliability and security. Branding style guides help graphic designers, marketers, web developers, community managers, and product packaging departments all stay on the same page, and present a unified vision of the brand to the public. This style guide presents standards which govern the composition, design, and general look-and-feel of Our Company’s branding.
Global — Consumer Packaging Design Guidelines
Logo Variations Our Company’s Logo is simple and clean. There are only two variations of the logo permitted: - Red on a White background (PMS 200 spot color) - Reversed (white) on a colored background The lock-up includes a standoff which acts as a boundary to ensure the logo does not get crowded. Thus, an art file lock-up is to be used to ensure consistent sizing within a given space. The smallest the logo should be used is .5” wide [standoff width = .6363”], typically this will occur on the Use Panel of a carton. LOGO Sizing and Positioning Note: the Logo Lock-up will always include the Standoff to ensure proportionate space allowance is maintained no matter what size the logo becomes On carton end flaps: the logo lock-up should be placed at 1:1 with the size in the lock up, unless the flap height or width is 2” or smaller, then the edge of Lock-up Standoff should meet the top of the ascender in the uppermost line of type. On PDPs: align the lock-up with the upper left corner of the panel, enlarge the Lock-up with Standoff while holding the shift key down until the lower right corner of the Lock-up Standoff meets the edge of the colored swoosh of the background graphic.

On Use Panels: center the Lock-up with Standoff above the product name and size proportionate to space available without Logo going smaller than .5” in width. LOGO Trademark vs Registration Mark ™ is to follow Our Company name (Global™) until the Registration has been issued.
