La Meccanica DA PRA nasce nel 1976, fondata da Lorenzo Da Pra e Fernando Zanella, con il nome di “ZANELLA & DA PRA”, officina specializzata nella costruzione di macchine, attrezzature e stampi per il settore dell’occhialeria. Dal 1981 l’attività è proseguita dal solo Lorenzo Da Pra fino al 1997 quando dona l’azienda ai suoi tre figli che le danno l’attuale nome “Meccanica Da Pra”. Nulla cambia nella sostanza, l’attività svolta è la medesima: produzione e vendita di macchine, attrezzature e stampi per l’occhialeria, ma con un rinnovamento e miglioramento dei macchinari utilizzati e uno sviluppo dei prodotti per soddisfare al meglio le richieste dei clienti. In questi 47 anni di attività i prodotti dell’azienda sono stati commercializzati non solo sul mercato nazionale, ma in tutto il mondo, riscontrando sempre grande soddisfazione per la qualità e la validità di quanto fornito. A Mido 2023 verrà presentata la nuova versione della Spessoratrice Automatica SP CNC G_68, ultimo sviluppo del macchinario che ha fatto conoscere Meccanica Da Prà a livello mondiale. Meccanica DA PRA was founded in summer 1976 by Lorenzo Da Pra and Fernando Zanella with the name of “ZANELLA & DA PRA’”. The factory soon specialized in manufacturing machines, tools and die cut molds for the eyewear industry. In 1981 the business was taken over by Lorenzo Da Pra and later, in 1997, inherited by his three sons who gave the company its current name: “Meccanica Da Pra Lorenzo di Da Pra G. & C.” Over the years the core business of the company remained the same: manufacturing and selling machines, tools and die cut molds for the eyewear industry. However, they invested a lot of resources into developing new products. As a result, the renewed and improved tooling machines and state-of-art products keep fulfilling the expectations of the customers. In fact in these 47 years of activity, the company’s products have been commercialized, not only on the national market, but all over the world and have always met high customer satisfaction thanks to their quality and performance standards. This year, at MIDO 2023, will be presented the newest version of the Automatic Thicknessing Machine SP CNC G_68, the latest and improved version of the machine that made the company well-known worldwide.
