ABOUT ME I’m Jade Hutton, 28, a make-up artist, and I live with my fiancé, Christian Watkins, 28, a building surveyor and carpenter, and Hector, our Italian greyhound. I have an interiors Instagram account @no14hectorshouse. OUR HOME A three-bed Edwardian end-of-terrace near Huddersfield, which we bought in August 2016. WHEN WE BOUGHT IT The layout needed a complete rethink, a new bathroom and kitchen were a must, and it required redecorating. AND NOW We’ve knocked down walls, added an extension at the back to give us a large kitchen and decorated throughout with a modern-country look. STYLE TIP Choose one neutral paint colour for the walls and use it throughout your home. It makes decorating so much easier and creates calming cohesion.
