Returning Faculty in New Positions

Jenna Wright

Fourth Grade

Jenna Wright will be looping with her third grade class from last year and will be moving into our Fourth Grade classroom. She is excited to help our lower school students get prepared for Veritas’ middle school and to have the opportunity to teach her previous students!

Thema Harris will be moving departments from Lower School to Early Education. She is excited to help our Kindergarteners build the tools that they need as they move from our Early Education department into Lower School at First Grade.

Cynthia Yu

Second Grade

With a larger Second Grade level, Cynthia Yu will graciously step away from teaching First Grade and will be moving into one of the two Second Grade classes at Veritas. Undoubtedly, there will be students who will end up looping with Mrs. Yu who were previously in her class for the 2021-22 Academic Year. She is looking forward to welcoming those students among other potentially new faces in her class this coming academic year.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)

Joy Jones will once again lead our students in Veritas’ STEAM program. As a part of the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, Veritas made a goal of beginning, implementing, and continuing a robust STEAM program as a goal to enhance the school’s programs and curriculum. She stepped into this role beginning the 2018-19 Academic Year but due to the pandemic, the program was put on hold. She is excited to revive the program for this coming year!
