As a part of our Cultural Expeditions Program, we believe that giving students the opportunity to explore and grow in their understanding of their own culture and history is of utmost importance. Visiting our nation’s capital is essential in the development of that understanding and encourages a sense of civic duty and identity as U.S. citizens. The trip is intended to immerse our students in the functions of the federal government, our nation’s history, and to experience one of the most powerful cities of the world.
