Supporting Veritas

Each year, donations made to The Veritas Fund help supplement the cost of providing an invaluable education to each student. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of our operations. Donations to Veritas play a critical role in providing the best educational opportunities for our students. The Veritas Fund is a vehicle that provides our families with the opportunity to give in various ways - cash or check, stocks and mutual funds, and through non-liquid assets - which fit their lifestyle and philanthropic goals. We are thankful for the financial support of families and friends of Veritas. Our consistent aim is to have 100% participation from all of our families.

What Would Jesus Do

For this year’s chapel theme, our community will be going back to the basics of our Christianity. The literal definition of the term Christian is “little Christ,” and though the term was initially used by those outside of the Christian faith to mock the early followers of Jesus, it is a term that truly emulates what our faith walk should look like - a miniature version of Christ. As followers of Jesus, it is our pursuit to look like our Savior, to walk the walk that He walked in his short life on earth, and to let others catch a glimpse of Christ in our daily lives. The best way to do that is to gain a greater understanding of who Jesus Christ is and the characteristics He displayed through his earthly life as evidenced in the scriptures.

Additional notes regarding chapel this year. Parents are invited and encouraged to participate in our chapels this academic year. Please see the time slot for your child’s chapel service below:

Middle School (5th-8th grades) - 8:05-8:35 a.m.

Lower School (1st-4th grades) - 8:40-9:10 a.m.

Early Education (PreK3-Kindergarten) - 9:15-9:40 a.m.

Chapel Buddies Program and All-School Chapels return for the 2022-2023 Academic Year! Veritas will be bringing back the beloved Chapel Buddies Program and All-School Chapels where students in lower grades will be paired up with students in higher grade levels. This intentional time of interaction between students throughout our entire school community serves to bring unity within our community, build opportunities for potential mentorship for our older students, and just to allow our students to hang out together after our AllSchool Chapels!
