February of this year, many members of the Veritas community gathered on a brisk and frigid evening at Evelyn’s Park. The Veritas community had been enjoying a wonderful 2021-2022 Academic Year with much normalcy returning to daily school activities. In addition to the everyday activities on campus, there was a reviving of the many community activities which give Veritas that very familial atmosphere. This gathering, Veritas’ Annual Auction Gala, is always a fun event that helps the community raise the necessary funding for many campus improvement projects.

University after the church decided to donate the land prior to dissolving. In 2016, Veritas was able to finalize the purchase of the property and become a staple part of the community landscape.

With over four acres of land and over 40,000 square feet of buildings, the school leadership made it a priority to improve the campus to match the quality of the education experience that the school was already providing to its students at that time as well as enhance and beautify

For over a decade since its inception, Veritas leased our current campus location from a local church body to host classes throughout the week. As the existence of the church drew to an end, there arose an opportunity for the school to secure the campus and set up roots of permanence in Bellaire by purchasing the property from Houston Baptist the campus to be aesthetically pleasing. Since that time, Veritas’ Annual Auction Gala provided the means to make this aspiration possible with completed projects such as The Green, the Raad Learning Center, and most recently, Foundation Hall.

As the Foundation Hall project was completed early in the 2021-2022 Academic Year, the leadership’s eye turned toward the many outdoor learning spaces throughout the campus. With the onset of the COVID pandemic in 2020, many educational institutions realized the great value
