"In the beginning, there was light," Mr. Johnson begins. "Why did God start with light?" asks curious Max. "Light is the beginning of all life, a symbol of goodness," Mr. Johnson explains.

Think About:
1.How did the story of creation make the Brite Star kids feel about the world around them?
2.What did Professor Jones say about the importance of every part of creation?
3.How can we take care of the world we live in, as inspired by the creation story?
4.What role do humans have in the ongoing story of creation, according to Professor Jones?
5.How does understanding creation help us appreciate our world more?
Let's Work Together: Let's join hands to care for and appreciate our wonderful world. Just like in the story of creation, every part of nature is important and deserves our respect and protection.
I Will... I will make an effort to look after the environment, just like the story of creation teaches us. By doing small things like recycling and conserving water, I play my part in caring for our beautiful world. The Importance of Knowing: This book’s story of creation in Brite Star teaches us about the beginning of the world and the responsibility we have in taking care of it. Understanding the story of creation helps us to appreciate the beauty of our environment and the role we play in preserving it for future generations.
