Alex huffed and crossed his arms. “I’ll never finish this puzzle!” he exclaimed. “It’s taking too long!”
That night at Camp Brite Star, Alex noticed the forest glowing softly. “Maybe I’ll take a walk,” he thought, hoping to clear his mind.
“Welcome to Critter Village,” said Doctor Owl, his eyes twinkling. “You look troubled, young one. Tell me what’s on your mind.”
“I get so frustrated when things take too long,” Alex admitted. Doctor Owl tilted his head. “Patience is a skill worth learning,” he said. “Let me show you.”
Doctor Owl pointed to a tree. “This fruit glows brightly, but it takes weeks to ripen,” he said. “If you rush it, it won’t be sweet.”

Owl guided Alex to a garden where critters were planting seeds.
“Gardens teach us patience,” Doctor Owl said. “You can’t rush plants. You care for them and wait.”
As the sun set, Doctor Owl led Alex and the critters to a clearing. “The stars take their time,” Doctor Owl said. “They remind us that beauty comes with patience.”
Doctor Owl gave Alex an hourglass. “This is a reminder,” he said. “Time may feel slow, but each moment is building something wonderful.”
The next day, Alex returned to camp and worked on his puzzle. This time, he was calm and focused. “I did it!” he said as he placed the last piece.
Alex noticed a friend struggling with a puzzle. “Take your time,” he said. “Patience makes it easier.”
Alex and his friends admired their completed puzzles. “Patience made all the difference,” Alex said with a smile.
