"Today is Career Day!" announced Ms. Apple. Dr. Green and her daughter, Lily, were excited to share about the life of a doctor. "Can anyone guess what this is?" asked Dr. Green, holding up her stethoscope. "Is it for listening to hearts?" asked Max. "That's right, Max!" Dr. Green smiled. "It helps us hear heartbeats and breathing."
"Now, let's visit the Brite Star Hospital to see where I work!" said Dr. Green. The children cheered, eager for the field trip. "Is it scary to go to the hospital?" asked Lily. "It can be, but we try to make it a comfortable place," Dr. Green reassured her.

"Doctors don't work alone. We have nurses to help us," Dr. Green introduced Nurse Betty to the class. "What do nurses do?" asked Sophie. "Nurses take care of patients, give medicine, and help doctors with many tasks," Nurse Betty replied.
The class then saw an X-ray machine. "X-rays help us see inside the body," Dr. Green said. "Can it see my bones?" asked Jake. "Yes, it helps us check for broken bones," Dr. Green nodded.
"This is the emergency room," said Dr. Green. "We help people who need immediate care here." "Do you work here a lot?" asked Mia. "Sometimes, especially when people need urgent help," Dr. Green explained.
The children waved goodbye to the nurses and doctors, thanking them for their time. "Goodbye, and thank you!" they all said. "Take care, everyone," the hospital staff replied with warm smiles.
Back at school, Dr. Green answered more questions. "Being a doctor is a big responsibility," Dr. Green said. "Do you like your job, Dr. Green?" asked Max. "I love it because I get to help people every day," Dr. Green smiled.
The children drew pictures of what they learned. "Doctors and Nurses are important!" they said. "Will you teach us more about health?" asked Emma. "Of course! Health is important for everyone," Dr. Green replied.."
"Thank you, Dr. Green and Lily, for teaching us today," said Ms. Apple. The children clapped, excited about what they had learned. "Can we visit the hospital again?" asked Ethan. "Anytime! You’re always welcome," Dr. Green replied warmly.
