Different But Equal I believe that every human being is equal, no mater our culture, language or race. We all have something special inside us and that’s what makes us unique.

The

only thing that matters is how different we are from each other and I think that's beautiful. The way we look alike in many ways but we are so different in essence.

Equality

or non-discrimination is that state where every individual gets equal opportunities and rights. Every individual of the society yearns for equal status, opportunity, and rights. However, it is a general observation that there exists lots of discrimination between humans.

 Discrimination

exists because of cultural differences, geographical differences, and

gender.  Inequality

based on gender is a concern that is prevalent in the entire world.

 Even

in the 21st century, across globe men and women do not enjoy equal privileges.

 Gender

equality means providing equal opportunities to both men and women in political, economic, education and health aspects.

A

nation can progress and attain higher development growth only when both men and women are entitled to equal opportunities. Women in the society are often cornered and are refrained from getting equal rights as men to health, education, decision-making and economic independence in terms of wages. Qual

 Dating

back to the 1900’s women have never truly been viewed as the man’s equal, instead women were made to feel inferior to men and be constantly reminded that the workforce was where the man belonged, not the women.  Even to this day, the woman who works the same job as any man, is paid far less than him.

 We

are all humans with inborn endowments and we all should be treated the same.  Women and Men must be equal in their rights and opportunities and one gender should not be considered ‘Superior’ over the other. Men and Women are naturally different in physical aspects.

 When

God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female with blessings of equality and called them “Man” (not man or woman). It’s true that they are mentally and emotionally different in certain aspects but these differences are more socially constructed since childhood by pressure of society and parents not by God.

The age-old social structure dictated that women need to stay inside the home taking care of all when men will go out to earn bread and butter. This has been practised since ages when the world outside was not safe.

Now that the time has changed and we have successfully made our environment quite safer, women can step forward, get educated, pursue their passion, bring economic balance in their families, and share the weight of a family with men. This, in a cumulative way, will also make a country’s economy progress faster and better.

Human rights are essentially divided into two categories of civil and political rights, and social rights. This classification is important because it clears the concept of human rights further. Plus, they also make humans realize their role in different spheres.

When we talk about civil and political rights, we refer to the classic rights of humans. These rights are responsible for limiting the government’s authority that may affect any individual’s independence. Furthermore, these rights allow humans to contribute to the involvement of the government. In addition to the determination of laws as well.

Next up, the social rights of people guide the government to encourage ways to plan various ways which will help in improving the life quality of citizens. All the governments of countries are responsible for ensuring the well-being of their citizens. Human rights help countries in doing so efficiently.

 Equality

is necessary for all manner of work since equality offers opportunities to those who truly deserve them and gives them a platform to showcase their talent.

 In

a society where equality exists people work hard to achieve their dreams and move ahead in life.

 In

the absence of equality, people will take advantage of the system and the undeserving people will get away with all the opportunities and no one will value hard work and perseverance.

 Equality

is a fundamental requirement of life, and we should treat everyone with equal respect and dignity. All human beings are equal, and we should take care that there is no prejudice in the society.
