Horne church In Horne it is possible to visit Funen’s only round church, built by Valdemar the Great around 1170. It is also Funen’s largest village church, which in former times was the home church for the huge feudal estate ”Brahesminde” in the time of the Empire. This is also where the movie ”Adam’s Apples” was filmed. Continue past the church along Søren Lundsvej and left on Vesterballe towards Egsmark and left on Egsgyden with a beautiful view of the sea and Lyø. There is also a public beach (stone) at Horne Sommerland, a summer house area (turn down Lyøvej). Continue straight out of Egsgyden, further along Sønder Hjørnevej.

Turn right. At Egsgyden turn left, and you drive along until you reach Egsgyden 19.
