Dear 2C, It has been half a year since I’ve become your Lieutenant Governor, and I am glad to have met all of y’all. Key Club has made me the outgoing person I am today and has made my love for service sprout. In this last newsletter, I just want to say my last goodbyes. I hope Key Club has an important meaning to you as it does to me. Keep striving forward and you will all become amazing people. Thank you for letting me be the LtG of the best division ever. What to expect at DCON This is through my experience but I hope this makes you all feel more at ease about going to DCON! So first is registration and be aware that something might go wrong. There can be errors so be prepared to wait. Our staff will do their best to get you into DCON as fast as possible. While waiting, make sure to check out the welcoming activities if you can! There are many fun games to be played. Throughout the weekend, make sure to attend some of the many forums that can be both fun and informative. Also, remember to have all the clothes, formal/casual, and shoes you need appropriate for all the events. Someone always forgets something! When there is free time, there’s always something to do. The hotel has a pool, fitness center, ping-pong table, checkers, and much more! Socialize as much as you can and you will meet amazing new people I hope this helps; I know you will all have an amazing time at DCON and if you see me be sure to say HI!!!

GOVERNOR’S PROJECT: Helping those with Special Needs
Spring into APRIL service! This month is the limb loss awareness month or LLAM. Find places to volunteer at amputation rehabilitation centers. Start a campaign with LIMBS international and raise money to donate to amputees!

First of all, I would like to congratulate y’all on all of your current and future accomplishments. I know you two very well and know that y’all are amazing, hardworking, dedicated, and considerate women. You two will go great places. Maisha. You were there for me when I was lost on how to do things and you helped me through my difficult times. We were always there for each other and I am glad that I met a great person like you. I hope that you are able to sleep and relax often, but knowing you, you will probably be working on homework or Key Club. Your gentle heart has reached many Key Clubbers and you will make 2C an even better division than it already is. Don’t stress and be happy. Jessica. I remember when we first met in middle school you were a shy and quiet little girl. We went to different high schools and after I saw you again, I realized how much you have grown. You are now a confident woman who also works harder than anyone else I know. I also want you to remember to not be too stressed. IB, Key Club, and everything else you’re in, be sure to not procrastinate and you will strive. I am glad that we met again through Key Club and I can see you doing great things for 2S. Knowing that y’all will be seniors, make sure to apply for college and scholarships IN THE SUMMER. Prepare for everything ahead of time. I know y’all will do great in the future years.
