50th Anniversary Tournament October 7th - October 12th, 2014 Waikiki, Hawaii
The Hawaii Harlequins are celebrating their 50th Anniversary during their annual tournament of sun, sea, sand and rugby - the Harlequins Rugby Championship. Clubs from around the world are invited to participate in the tournament which is always an exciting celebration of rugby across a number of social, competitive mens and womens grades, all in idyllic Hawaii. Following the successful 2013 Harlequins Championship, VSL Rugby has teamed up again with the Hawaii Harlequins Rugby Football Club to help promote and manage the Tournament.
TOURNAMENT VENUE QUEEN KAPIOLANI PARK Queen Kapiolani Park covers 170 acres in the middle of urban Honolulu, below Diamond Head and at the edge of the ocean in Waikiki. From unique beginnings as a private preserve for the King into a public charitable trust, Kapiolani Park has become a heavily-used recreational and sports space. It plays host to many sports including rugby and is the home ground of the Hawaiian Harlequins and headquarters for the Hawaii Harlequins Rugby Tournament.

PROGRAMME Tuesday October 7 Teams arrive, settle into accommodation and attend the Welcome Reception at the Waikiki Shell. Wednesday October 8 First day of games at Kapiolani Park. Evening at leisure. Thursday October 9 Second day of games at Kapiolani Park. Evening at leisure. Friday October 10 Day at leisure with plenty of optional tours, coaching and great things to do Saturday October 11 Finals day at Kapiolani Park followed by the Awards Ceremony (includes 4 drinks pp, sitdown buffet dinner, entertainment and DJ). Sunday October 12 Time to head for home or to carry on touring through the fabulous Hawaiian Islands.
