Budget So, you’ve decided to get married? How much you wish to spend, and can afford, are the most challenging decisions you’ll have to make in this process. Essentially you cannot begin to plan your wedding until you know your budget. Establishing that budget is vital. If you are using the services of a wedding planner, then they will be able to guide you. If you’re doing it yourselves, lists will need to be made – and dollar values put alongside the topics. Have a special wedding budget book. It’s a great starting point and writing
things down will help prioritise what’s undisputedly required, what’s important to you both, then there’s the nice-to-have, and maybe another wistful column ‘if there’s money left, we could do this.’
