Southwest Edmonton is a sprawling area in the capital region that is characterized by surrounding parks and green space. The new communities of the southwest take up the biggest space in the map sections of this magazine with 38 various residential developments spanning two pages. Every other sector in our Edmonton area maps only has one page, some just half. According to Alberta Provincial Electoral records, Edmonton Southwest has a total population of 45, 955.
