Europe is still very popular for destination weddings. Whilst Italy will always probably be one of the most popular places, Ireland is moving up the list especially for multiple day events as the country has so much to offer that is available all year round, not just for summer. Specifically because you don't choose the location for the weather. Spain as always is popular and the South of France Another new upcoming location but still slightly underdeveloped is Croatia.
What are your top color predictions for destination weddings in 2020?
I do see more navy and blue being incorporated as well as all the other jewel colours. This gives huge flexibility to the floral palette and brings the destination to the fore.
What are some of the biggest changes you're seeing going from 2019 into 2020?
Brexit and currency fluctuations caused by brexit are bringing uncertainty into European destinations. The ability of free movement of suppliers across countries is still unknown, this is causing some brides to hold off making decisions on suppliers until cost implications of Brexit are fullly known.
What are some of the emerging destinations for 2020?
Croatia, Madeira.
