What are the top wedding themes for 2020?

We believe nature and tropical expressions still play a big part in the upcoming year, with more eco friendly installations for couples who loves greens and nature. However, instead of having the themes done up in rustic expressions, modern lux and chic treatments are styled together with the organic elements. Metallic props such as Gold, Bronze and Silver are used to create clean lines with the greens landscaping or treatment.

Which 2019 themes do you think will carry over into 2020?

Hipster style and pampas styled centrepieces will still be used for a while into 2020. Though we believe this will eventually fade off soon as Couples are taking efforts to personalise their favourite things into the wedding. So interesting signages or symbols are used to depict elements of their love journey.

Are there any themes couples are staying away from in 2020?

Interestingly, these days, couple have specifically told us not to use fairylights, as they relate that styling as outdated trends, as much have been seen in the use of all these twinkle twinkle lightings. But we still strongly believe lightings will play a big part in the final decorations design, from LED installation in decorations, or props, to Neon signages , are going to popular, because the ambience are often enhanced and make magical with lightings.

In the luxury market, it is all about creating big and wow impact staging. This is one trend that we have seen coming back in big waves. Today's couples are infused with many inspirations from the Russian or Middle Eastern weddings, where printed props are used in massive way. The integration of prints and floral will continue to resonate in luxury markets. And besides that, bold ideas such as lush hanging features and use of special decorative materials will be installed in bolder and more extravagant ways. The use of wire mesh with lightings are the in trends for Asian markets, riding on the inspirations created for the Middle East market. The use of colourful drapes with intensed lightings will also be a common treatment to be seen in coming year. We are excited for the next wave, where the birth of Avant-Garde creative expressions will be setting the pace for the luxury wedding trends.
