Message from the Manager...

I hope this message finds our loyal patrons and their families safe and in good health while we continue to bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to open, and once again serve the community. We were closed for some time after being notified by the Public Health officer that all recreation and aquatic centres needed to close on March 17, 2020. The facility re-opened Phase 1 on July 6 with modified dry/land programming only. We are planning to open the swimming pool on September 14 for what we will call Phase 2 “Re-opening” (Limited Services). There will be shortened hours and modified classes, with reduced numbers to comply with the Provincial Health Orders. For instance, we are temporarily not offering any wet or dry preschool classes at this time, but Parent and Tot Swimming Lessons are running. The Fall pool schedule has changed significantly from previous years, in order to meet health and safety requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please take the time to review the following pages in order to familiarize yourself with these changes. We are all in this together. Remember to stay home if you aren’t feeling well, physically distance from others, and wash and disinfect your hands often. Sincerely, John Douglas, Facility Manager

JBMAC Phase 2 “Re-Opening” (Limited Services)

Red Cross Swim Lessons/Aqua & Land Fitness, Lane Swim and General Programs start Sept. 14 with modifications and limited number of participants. No public swim available at this time. See page 10 for Registration details and page 13 for Pool Schedule and Call-in Drop-in details.
