V of the month

AG14

My father, an Army major, was conducting a field test when communications went dead. Immediately, he jumped into a jeep and ordered a sergeant to speed to the command station. When my father and the sergeant ran in, the group cheered their arrival. The commanding officer then stepped forward and shook my father’s hand. “Don’t congratulate me, sir,” my father said modestly as he pointed to his driver. “It was all the sergeant’s doing.” The commanding officer nodded and turned to the sergeant. “Congratulations,” he said. “The major’s wife just had a baby girl.”

Seaview

Game Farm is 168 acres of farm located on one mile of pristine waterfront at Miracle Beach. Purchased by Paul Pfleger in 1973 it was transformed from a swampland and developed for hay, forage and crops. The intent of the farm was to build an environment where humans and animals could coexist in the grandest environments. Over the years, barns, houses, greenhouses, retail store and accommodations have been constructed. Today over 200 head of Fallow Deer, 25 grass fed Highland Cattle and several laying hens, Goats, Alpacas, Lama’s, and a very happy Pig all live on the farm. In the spring and summer months, fresh fruits and vegetables are grown. Healing Yoga Mudras Yoga Mudra is generally known as Yoga for the hands and the Mudras are best described as hand positions. Hand gestures and positions are a part of everyday lives, intuitively used throughout the day, and intricately affecting our energy level. Through learning about the Mudras and their applications, we can appreciate how each area of the hand has a reflex reaction in a specific part of the brain. brain, and Mudras can be performed at any time in any way, like sitting, standing, or walking. During your Yoga Mudra Class, you can explore this healing art while the hand positions are modified to comfort level. Not only does this allow for you to experience the powerful healing applications of the Mudras but it also encourages hand and finger flexibility through gentle and consistent practice.
