Maintaining a daily Meditation Routine

Most of us are familiar with the many benefits that come with a regular meditation routine. The problem often lies in how to establish and maintain this routine. There are two common difficulties people try to overcome: doubts regarding ‘correct ways of meditation’, and procrastination. Essentially, the only possible wrong way to meditate is to think that you are doing it wrong. There are vast varieties of meditation techniques and practices

and it is through exploring the different practices that each person can find her or his unique meditation technique. Go with what makes sense to you and embrace what works for you. Finding the time to establish a regular meditation routine and procrastination often go hand-in-hand. It comes into play when we tell ourselves that we need to do other things that are far more important than our meditation practices. When you find yourself procrastinating, don’t judge yourself for it. Just be aware of what is happening and recognize it for what it is. Establish a meditation routine that suits your lifestyle. Remind yourself of the tremendous benefits that come with a daily meditation routine. Bringing the benefits back into your awareness will help you to overcome procrastination. www.womynspathofhealing.com

In partnership with our generous customers, Thrifty Foods is able to support local food banks in all the communities where we do business.

F

ood banks have a need for donations year round and this program helps ensure they are able to provide fresh, nutritious food items to those in need.

From November 12th to January 1st, 2015, you can add a $5, $20, or $50 Food for Families coupon to your grocery order and at the end of the promotion, the money will be collected and transferred to local food banks to use as needed.
