Highly regarded as a premium golfing venue in Basingstoke, Weybrook Park as founded in 1992 and moved to its present site in 1997. A friendly and welcoming golf club in the Hampshire Downs, Weybrook Park features a fantastic 27 hole golf course with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Each course represents a fair test of golf and can be combined for competition, society or corporate use. The nine hole, East course is by no means a warm up to the main course. It offers nine unique holes of golf with tree lined fairways and small fast greens providing a challenge for all standards of player.
The main 18 hole West Course was designed by Sandy Burrell and Ken Moodie of Creative Golf Design. The Par 72 course measures 6,808 yards from the championship tees and has a WHS slope rating of 126, presenting the downland style golf course as a true test for even the most accomplished of player.
The course’s unique layout sees it comprise of four lakes meandering around a natural valley making it scenic as well as unique in golfing echelons, with many risk and reward challenges along the way.
The 9 hole East Course is a picturesque parkland. With a Par of 35, the course is an enjoyable nine holes with excellent views; strategically placed bunkers and a scattering of trees which delightfully compliment the main course, combining for a challenging 27 hole venue.
Both golf courses benefit from free-draining soil, resulting in all-year-round golf in the South of England. The chalk based terrain ensures that there are no temporary greens or tee boxes at Weybrook Park.
Excellent facilities
Weybrook Park also has a whole host of outstanding practice facilities, including a purpose-built grass and astro-turf area driving range, putting green and short game practice area. Ideal to touch up on one’s game before taking on the challenges of the main, championship golf course.
Our very welcoming and friendly clubhouse is superbly designed with its main focal point, a second floor bar area - the ideal retreat for a post round drink with friends or family.
The club’s experienced catering team create mouth-watering dishes for members and visitors to enjoy in the comfortable and airy lounges as well as outdoor dining spaces. Weybrook Park is the ideal venue for any kind of celebration, function or formal dining and can be hired as a venue.
The clubhouse is also home to the excellent Weybrook Park Professional shop. Lead by Head PGA Professional, Steve Cox and his team, the pro shop stocks the latest clothing, equipment and accessories from some of the game’s leading manufacturers as well as offering tuition and advice on the latest course trends.
