49er Update

FORE-TEE NINERS 2024 CAPTAIN

The 49ers had a wonderful Holiday Party on Dec 14, hosted by outgoing captain Arleen Mataga. Good food and fun was had by all. Barb Parejo was our most-improved player for 2023. Winners on the 14th were Anne Weisenberg, Kathy Cockayne and Donna Aarons.
For 2024, the 49ers Captain will be Donna Aarons; Treasurer will be Jennie Fuller; Secretary is Barb Parejo; and WNHGA Coordinator is Melissa Krebill.
There were lots of birdies, chip ins, & pars for 2023. Keep up the great golf, everyone. Many of our players broke 60 this year and several broke the 50 mark.
Upcoming fun January play includes a low putt day and a throw out your worst hole day.
Recent new players on our roster include Lynn Stroh, Juliet Fyffe and Dora Shoemaker.
The 49ers is geared toward all levels of play. Consider joining in the fun — you’ll get exercise, socialization and many a good laugh. We play Thursday mornings.
We thank Arleen for her long term dedication to the 49ers and hope this year she can just enjoy Hope to see you out there! Donna Aarons playing golf.
