This practical workshop introduces employees to mental health and wellbeing, and teaches practical skills for identifying and responding to someone who may be developing a mental health problem, or experiencing a mental health emergency.
Delivered in a fun (believe it or not!) and engaging way, this workshop is based on the latest research utilising “recovery based principles” which are holistic and respect diverse cultural backgrounds.
Mental Health Conversations
1, 2, or 3 hour workshops
Raise awareness and understanding of mental health and wellbeing, reduce stigma, and start the conversation about mental health in the workplace.
These interactive workshops are designed to introduce your staff to workplace mental health, overcome myths, misconceptions and stigma around mental health, and teach them the essentials skills to identify if they or a colleague might be becoming unwell and respond appropriately in the first instance.
Mental Health First Aid / First Responder
Full Day course
Equip those on the front line with the essential skills to handle mental health emergency situations.
Designed specifically for people whose roles include responding to mental health emergency situations, such as security staff, police, paramedics, surf life savers, and customer service staff who frequently deal with people experiencing mental health issues in the community. This course provides an understanding of the dynamics of situations where a person might be experiencing a mental health crisis, and how to respond safely and effectively in situations including where there may be risk of suicide, a panic attack, a psychotic episode, or challenging or aggressive behaviour.

Resilience at Work
Full Day course (condensed half day also available)
Learn personal resilience strategies to manage the ever-increasing challenges and pace of working life.
With the enormous pressures and challenges facing communities and workplaces, resilience skills are absolutely critical when it comes to surviving and thriving at work (and in life). A team of ‘can do’ people who are mentally tough and ready for the challenge is priceless. Those are the organisations who will outlast the others.
RAW Resilience at Work goes beyond the standard ‘self care’ and ‘work life balance’, to equip participants with the skills to handle the increasing demands and pressure, and stay well in the process.
Vicarious Trauma Training
2 Day course (1 day and half day also available)
Prevent Vicarious Trauma, Secondary Traumatic Stress and Compassion Fatigue.
This course is designed for people who work in highly challenging environments, with people who have experienced trauma, or people dealing with material and information of a highly sensitive or emotional nature.
It provides an understanding of how we respond to trauma, how to identify signs of vicarious trauma developing, and a range of tools and strategies to manage your own wellbeing, while remaining empathetic and compassionate to the needs of others you work with.
Mindfulness at Work
Half Day course
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction training that improves the wellbeing of your employees and builds engagement, resilience and productivity.
Mindfulness is an evidence based technique that has been proven effective in reducing stress, anxiety and depression, and can be offered in conjunction with other organisational wellbeing initiatives to improve staff productivity, performance and wellbeing.
This half day course looks at the science behind mindfulness, and equips participants with practical strategies to apply in their work and personal life to better manage stress and pressure, and protect themselves from mental ill health.
