Seasons Change We welcome another season change with the arrival of the 2016 Fall Season! It’s that time of the year when, depending on how hot the summer months were, people either want the summer to linger on because of all the fun outdoor activities they have been enjoying or wish that the oppressive heat was gone. If your seasons only consist of hot, hotter and hottest or cold, colder and coldest then you’ll appreciate what it’s like to welcome the arrival of a new season. In fact the fashion calendar by virtue of the start of the fashion weeks beginning in New York and ending in Paris, signal the change in season as they feature next year’s fashion statements on the runway. We welcome the arrival of fall with the re-introduction of artist and photographer Sonny Moeckel together with his new bride, Lisa, in the opening editorial followed by Wine, Resorts and Fashion with Seattle-based fashion boutique owner Kiki Corona and photographer Don Poling at the Cave B Inn & Winery in George, WA. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Shaun Rhames Fashions partnered with photographer Dirk Linton and model Aubreyana Marie Anderson for an editorial to help raise continued awareness on the importance of early detection. One organization that has been doing its part in not only raising awareness but actually raising funds to sponsor women who cannot afford breast thermography technology is Beyond Pink.

Beyond Pink of Spokane has been holding a fashion show and live auction since 2010 and has helped more than eight hundred women in the battle against breast cancer. This year’s show will be held at the Spokane Convention Center with the usual complement of local designers who are passionate about their craft and bra designs. If you haven’t had the chance to come and watch their show, you should definitely make it a point to attend this year’s event and help them raise funds to sponsor women who can’t afford the technology for early breast cancer detection.
