Spring Fling Reflection Thank you so much to everybody that attended Spring Fling this past weekend! I had a ton of fun, and I hope that everybody else did too! I'd like to give a special shoutout to those who sent in videos for the fundraiser, and I'd like to give the HUGEST thank you to everybody that sent in donations! I was absolutely blown away over the fact that we were able to raise $450, all of which is going straight to Camp Wawbeek! I'm completely overjoyed that we're able to bring in this much support for camp, and that all of these donations are going to a place that holds a special place in the hearts of so many of the members of the WisconsinUpper Michigan Kiwanis Family. -James Oscar WUM 2021-2022 Special Evetns Chair

Vision Statement Greetings, everyone! The 2021-2022 Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Circle K International year is almost a month underway! There have been two exciting and successful events in April, Spring Fling and Zoom Service Night. The district board can’t wait to continue hosting more unique, fun events and pursue the goals set by each board member at New Board Training. Looking ahead, the five year strategic vision is directly in the center on year three! The focus for 2021-2022 is all about recruitment and retention efforts. Our clubs are so excited to work hard at growing their membership to create a bigger impact on our communities. The membership goal has been set at 365 members, and you may notice something about that number to be announced in the future so stay tuned! To help reach this goal, the district is planning new events, providing resources to all club boards, and celebrating each new and returning member part of the WUM district this year! As the world progresses past the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a vision on the horizon to return to in-person events for the fall semester. Although we hope for the best, there will still be options to socialize and do service virtually at Zoom Service Nights happening every month of the year, even in the summer. There will also be opportunities to unite clubs in the district through interclubs during the summer and upcoming semesters as the goal is set for 35 interclubs. The 2021-2022 WUM CKI year will continue to be full of uncertainty, but I promise each of our clubs and the district board is more than prepared to adapt. There is a growing necessity to continue hybrid events and provide new benefits to being a member of Circle K International. Reach out to leaders in your clubs or the district to find ways in which you can help us achieve our goals and create new growth.
