Fundraiser Governor’s Project

Our Little Free Library The residents at Evergreen Retirement Home in Oshkosh built the library and our club, notably Josie Mackai, decorated it with a superhero theme. We conducted a book drive and collected many boxes of books. The library is now installed outside of the Children’s Center on the UW Oshkosh Campus for the enjoyment of kids and college students alike.

Service projects during meetings Including making dog toys for the Oshkosh Humane Society.

Talent Untapped In January, members volunteered at this Kiwanis event where they helped Oshkosh Mid Morning Kiwanians raise over $30,000!

Spellbound for Literacy A spelling bee for adults that raised money for the Literacy Council, which offers people the opportunity to learn to read.

We fundraised by having a lot of Cherry Berry donation Nights (which also provided good club bonding time!).

Apply for District Convention Chair If you enjoy planning large-scale events, then this may be the position for you! As DCON Chair, you would have the opportunity to plan the 53rd Annual District Convention that will be held in Green Bay the weekend of March 4th – 6th in 2016. Although it can be a heavy workload, seeing the convention come together will be absolutely rewarding!

Apply for Service Chair Service is the foundation of our beloved organization. As the Service Chair, you will provide service project ideas and tips to clubs, keep track of the district service hours, plan service projects at district events, and organize Kiwanis Family Service Day.

Apply for Awards, Regulations, and History Chair The ARH is responsible for being knowledgeable of our district bylaws and policies. If there are any conflicts, this chairperson will address it to the district board and the House of Delegates at District Convention. This chairperson is also responsible for preparing and organization the district convention award process.
