MY FIRST ABROAD TRIP TO NEW YORK
This was my first visit to the international terminal of the airport and nothing was familiar.

When I was a kid, I had no chance to visit an airport, my family was quite poor and we couldn’t afford such a big expense. However, life quality was lower than now and few people could travel by plane. I just travelled around the country by means of transport such as bus, car or train.
Life didn’t change for me until I was given a trip to New York by a travel agency. I couldn’t believe it, New York was such a special place to visit. Nevertheless, the trip was just for one person and I was afraid to get lost. As soon as I was given the trip, I started to prepare things in order not to forget anything and the trip to be the best possible
Finally, the day arrived, I woke up with a great feeling and happiness, I was very excited. I was looking forward to being in New York. First of all, I took all the things and equipment I needed and I went to the airport. Once I was there, nothing was familiar to me. There was so much stressed people running everywhere, it was a disaster. I didn’t understand anything, the international terminal where I had to check in the luggage was a mess, I didn’t know where I had to go and neither what to say. Although there were two hours left for the takeoff of the plane, I started to get nervous.
One thing that shocked me the most was all the facilities and shops the airport had, including famous brands, for example, Starbucks or McDonalds. I also need to comment on the high prices products on those shops had, they take advantage of us as there is no other place to buy things.
After the first bad impression the airport had on me, I managed to take the plane and I was very happy with the plane service. I couldn’t believe it was happening and I was so expectant to arrive in New York!
