It’s great we finally get the chance to sit down with Jared Armstrong. Jared is the founder and CEO of the time tracking App MinuteDock. MinuteDock has been a great supporter of XU Magazine right from the very start when they appeared in Issue 1. Jared why don’t you start by telling our new readers what MinuteDock is?

Great to be here, we’re big fans of XU! MinuteDock is time tracking and billing software for professional services. We’re especially focussed on small businesses.
XU:
As we mentioned earlier you are the founder of MinuteDock. How did this idea come about and how long ago was this?
JA:
Back in 2009 myself and two co-founders were software consultants working with local and international clients. Being tech guys, we couldn’t stand the inefficient time tracking tools that were around. And being Kiwis, we were using Xero and couldn’t find anything that integrated for billing. We got sick of the manual processes, and so we created MinuteDock for ourselves.
